Some Rock N' Roll from the 2000's for this Three Tune Tuesday!

It's been another busy week, despite my best efforts, this is the first chance I've had to throw together a post. Being a Tuesday and after seeing the header, I'm sure you already guessed it's another Three Tune Tuesday. I've been doing decades over the last several weeks, and now we're up to the 2000's. The 90's were fun last week...
I have been sharing some silver commemorative chips from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino the last few weeks. Some I have been looking to pick up... I haven't seen any new ones in silver sadly, but did find this commemorative gaming chip. Although not silver, it does feature one band in the lineup today. It's pretty cool, have a look:

From eBay.com
The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is no more, and the memorabilia is always expensive. This chip had no value in a casino anymore, but asking price is $15! It is pretty dope though!
Now, before we get going, I want to say thank you to @ablaze for starting and continuing to sponsor this fun weekly event where you can share three songs that you enjoy. One lucky participant will win some HSBI units, you can't have too many of those! So if you don't already participate feel free to jump in, just use the tag #ttt or #threetunetuesday and it's never a bad idea to do a shoutout to @ablaze .
Now onto the music!

Saving Abel
Founded in 2004 in Corinth, Mississippi, a place I have honestly never been. They had breakout success with their debut self titled album in 2008. After touring a few years they released their follow up album Miss America in 2010, this song is off of that album. Although not entirely in the 2000's it was recorded at that time. This is "The Sex Is Good", one of my favorites from the band.

No Doubt
This band formed in Anaheim, California in 1986. Yes, that is where Disneyland is located. They had moderate success until their breakout success with the album Tragic Kingdom in 1995. After that they were one of the top bands in the world, and despite hiatuses still perform together today. This song comes off their album Return of Saturn released in 2000 and is called "Bathwater", it always been one of my favorites.

I have always been a big fan of music in Spanish having spend most the 1990's in Spanish speaking countries. So I like to include a song here and there from my favorites.
Shakira
This Colombian singer rose to prominence in the mid 1990's with the release of her album Pies Descalzos (Bare Feet.) By the end of the decade she was an international superstar, that only became even bigger when she went blonde and releases Laundry Service in 2001, her first English speaking album. However, I like the Spanish version of this song better, "Suerte" (Wherever, Whenever):

That will do it for this Tuesday, I do hope you enjoyed the picks of the week. Please feel free to leave any questions or comments below, and as always thank you so much for all of your support. It's greatly appreciated. Have a great day everyone!

Nice lineup for "Three Tunes Tuesday", my friend!!👍😀
I hope you're enjoying a beautiful day and sunny California!😎
The rain is gone finally, that hurricane down in Mexico made things wet all the way up north for a couple days! How are you doing?
I'm not sure if we were getting hurricane rain fallout, or just rain.....Lol!😅
It definitely looks like it will be sunny and warm this weekend!!😎🤗
Happy Three Tune Tuesday!
I know that No Doubt album bombed commercially, but I always liked this song along with “New”
I remember New came out in 1999 like a year prior to the album it was on, I think ot made an early appearance on the Go movie soundtrack. I remember watching the premiere on MTV after school.
It’s funny, easily New could be Missing Persons song!
Gwen sings better for sure! But u can see where she got a lot of her style from them!
Rite back at ya with the HSBI!
Thanks brother! New really could be a Missing Persons song, the sound is just so similar. It may have been the inpiration!
Good to hear from you!

Bathwater is one of my favorites. Such a good song! We just heard the original version of It's my life by Talk Talk on the radio the other day. My wife was like wait, that was a cover?!
It's a great song isn't it? Talk Talk really came up with a great song back in the 80's, I loved it when it first came out. No Doubt brought it back in such a nice fashion too!
Yes, both versions were pretty iconic! Great stuff!
Saving Abel sounds like Nickelback, yeah? I love Gwen so much, just found out from Gene that they did reggae too. And Shakira, yeah, classic!! Sounds like you had a great night, huh? great songs to chill, Ryan.
No Doubt was a ska band from the get go, and loved reggae. They have some great ska songs. Saving Abel kind of had their own sound, Nickelback had some great music, then a lot of duds too. I never really understood them as a band... Shakira is one of my favorites for sure! Thanks Ellie!
