DAILY LIFE STORY: "Sticky Rice Cake for Dessert"

Here in the Philippines, we have a lot of different sticky rice cake desserts, and you will be amazed by their unique taste, texture, and flavor. For today, we will be sharing with everyone the "Palitaw", another sticky rice recipe perfect as a snack or dessert. This is common across the country, and we know Filipinos love it too.

We did not buy this on purpose. Someone offered it to us at a very cheap price, compared to the local market price. We grabbed the chance since it had been a long time since we last had this food, maybe months ago.

We bought the last one and went back home. We did not eat it first, since we planned on having it as our dessert after eating lunch. So, after the meal, we enjoyed every bite of this sticky rice, especially the kids, because of its sugary flavor.

It is a perfect snack in the morning or afternoon when partnered with a cup of coffee, or a quick dessert after a meal. Of the two, the taste of Palitaw never disappoints.

Since we all loved it, we decided to buy this again from the same vendor when we have time. We are going to the local market. We need to look for this lady since she made the best Palitaw recipe.
