7 Days to Die - The mine is explosive
Danger is expected in these times
The mist was heavy right now but Akira was about to head out into the night, to travel to an unknown location as part of exploring what is around the place.
Not too far after heading out was there a wolf to be taken out, which the shotgun was more than enough while up close. "Boom! Yeah take that wolf, eat the shotgun shell and you will not hurt me on this early morning!"
Once he had gotten closer to the location it turned out to be an outpost and there was no way of knowing, this was such a lucky guess for picking a spot to visit!
Going through the garage was the logical choice as the access was there through an open door, allowing Akira to then move up and check out the first building inside this small compound, of course it was a bust and didn't provide much loot.
"Son of a bitch! Was not expecting you boys to come out of nowhere and you scared me." Akira said with a raised voice as he killed two zombie dogs, ones that were hiding in the kennels and got a bite or two off.
A military man turned zombie was sleeping until Akira stepped into the room. You would hope killing him would get you some good loot.. but instead it's some bolts along with some bronze resources.
Couple more zombies left to kill inside and once completed, he headed outside but onto the roof, which at this time had started getting lighter as dawn was starting.
The last main part of this compound is the tower which had multiple zombies waiting inside, easily disposed of, but a hassle and for what?
Well Akira downed the last ones and had a look inside to find multiple crates, a trunk and a couple of piles of things that could be used. It was well worth it for a nice small haul like this appearing. More of the usual skill books, schematics, ammo etc.
Akira was about to come close to death after he left the compound.. it was nearby that there is a medical army camp which could have a lot of weapons and ammo if lucky.
Click goes the mine under his foot as he had taken the other step, diving and getting seriously injured from the mine. He slowly got back up to his feet, everything was ringing and strange for a bit until he could get himself together again.
After killing a couple of zombies then shooting up a mine that was in the path of the walking being used, it was straight up the watch towers and what was found? Well there was an assault rifle which would come in a lot of use in tight spots.
Perfect for an area with quite a few zombies and whatever potential tough times come, like those expected blood moons which have mass zombies that run too, now that is going to need the assault rifle!
All that was really left before heading back to base, is the couple of small pitched up tents, plus the big medical building.
"Right now, let's test out this bad boy. Time to kill these zombies with ease!" Akira thought to himself before finishing clearing the area, killing zombies with the assault rifle to test it out.
After clearing the area it was time for the run back to base, to drop off the supplies and loot gained and take a breather for a bit. It's been a pretty productive few days since getting started in the area.
