Completing SNES games - Super Mario World - World 4 - Ludwigs Castle
World 4 only has a short amount of stages so this one goes quite quick
This is game #18 in my series for completing SNES games using an emulator and ROMs.
In World 4 of the game Super Mario World I come across an annoying stage that I have always hated, with stupid saws coming at me as I try to not fall off the moving platforms but fail the first couple of times, of course!
Eventually I get through that level and get to avoid a bunch of gopher looking things and plenty of them.
I mess up the pipe which ends up not putting me forward in the level, so all that hard work and effort was really only for another life...
After the bonus round giving me 4 extra lives to top up, it was off to Ludwigs Castle for which it was mostly smooth to pass it. There was some mistakes losing my powerups and moving fast is not a great idea either, but Ludwig is an easy fight if you dodge the fireballs and get those bonks on his head!
Streamlabs OBS used for recording and setting the scene with SNES font, my avatar and the game picture for what I am playing.
Emulator used: RetroArch
ROMS: They are the games
Saving: Using emulator saving between levels or occasionally in tough parts so I don't always die and repeat so then the game can get completed.
