Lucky's Labyrinth is a death trap on survival

After the success of helping Paladin Danse with securing the deep range transmitter from Arcject and the Synth's, then advising he isn't sure about joining the Brotherhood of Steel, Arghrash thought he was due to explore somewhere he hasn't been yet and see what else can be found.

All the new loot was dropped off at base, a solid 8 hours sleep and some food and water, ensuring a revitalised madman was prepared for the journey. The pipboy map was marked at the crossroads to the south but was likely to detour around in that area, some machinegun turrets were put on the roof of his shack and away he went.

"Mmm tasty, give me that rad-x medication to keep me safe until the other side" Arghrash said as he took a dose of rad-x and immediately felt the effects, before having a swim around in the radiation filled water and drastically reducing how much he takes, as he crosses to the other side of the river. It isn't something you always want to do due to the side effects of meds but sometimes it is just worth it!

Further up the hill along the waterfront of the river was a relay tower with who knows what use it had in today's post apocalyptic wasteland.

"Crap where did you come from, I didn't even see you."

A pair of bloodbug hatchlings surprise attacked him from the side to get the better of him, to quickly kill him with ease and show why you need to pay attention.

Death is never pretty but the wasteland is unforgiving, this time Arghrash went across the bridge and followed the train tracks instead which led to an alpha wild mongrel, the righteous authority laser rifle makes short work of it to avoid getting hurt. Following further along saw the Oberland station little settlement being reached.

"Are you able to help us, please? Raiders keep causing trouble and we cannot defend ourselves well" said the settler.

"Okay okay, let me go to Lucky's labyrinth and take care of them so you will be safe" Arghrash replied and backtracked across the bridge again.

After reaching Lucky's labyrinth which is at the end of that bridge and below it through a drainpipe, it starts of with a simple maze of tunnels that are patrolled by some wild mongrels, roaming separately which is why the righteous authority is kept out. After some time to find the way and getting to the next entrance, there is a mattress just before you go in which for survival mode is a blessing so the game can be saved and you always start from the new section.

Into the second section and there are even more maze like tunnels and wild mongrels patrolling, so it is basically the same but a little bigger and with more dogs and dead ends.

"Looks like I am finding my way quite easily and getting through it all, but I wonder how much more there is in this place?" Arghrash was keeping cautious throughout so no dogs would surprise him or anything else there might be, in the third section.

The third section starts to really get interesting now, he makes his way around after killing some more wild mongrels that were at the starting sections, still being careful and it is a good thing he was.. not only for where the wild mongrels are but also the traps at the dead end sections in some areas, like handmade tripwires and tesla arcs, there would be all sorts of traps to be careful of!

"Sweet mother of horrendous mazes that was grueling to find the way through and avoid death" a tired Arghrash said as he found a pipe that looked like the way to go.

The agony wouldn't stop here, there would be yet a maze made out of these pipes and who knows what else after this.. he was not impressed but has picked up a lot of loot and a lot of mongrel meat to cook and eat up.

The tunnels just kept on getting confusing and Arghrash kept getting lost, he found one way which leads to maybe just a room that needs you to backtrack, but a Legendary feral ghoul stalker and some other ghouls, he used a molotov but was poor with the aim and killed himself. "I don't think I will go back there, I just want out of this place and to complete the mission."

He thought about a strategy of how the next run will go and took some time, whether to loot up fully again or try get through quicker, next time might see a kind of midway point. He does know though, that those pipes show he was closer to the end of this place which means there could be something final in store he will not like at all.
