Palkemon! - Unleash the Beast - Part nine
Mammoth of a challenge and shiny Pals
That Mammorest wandering around the starting area like a boss and really is a boss, was finally fought with the now better leveled Pals in 477's party to see how well it will go and whether or not it could be caught.. Well the battle was an intense one required going through all available Pals for this fight while shooting the arrows.
Dinossom, Relaxaurus Lux, Tocotoco and Mossanda Lux were all used and he thought it was over, it's health was so low.
But little did he know was this bad boy came and conquered. It killed off 477 at the last moment of it's life and denied the win or catch and caused utter disgust in letting it happen!
Composing himself after such a shocking upset to be defeated as he was, some eggs were hatched, more giga spheres created and the first Pals extracted to power up another by using some newly caught Direwolves, plus doing the same for Daedream caught from the early stages of starting off and finally the Caprity which had been caught in previous times exploring about.
With a mass amount of giga spheres stockpiled for the strong Pals it was time to heat back out into the desert for a fight against our old buddy old pal, the Suzaku through determination!
Death was so close for 477 and he was dodging and hiding from attacks in order to live.. then luckily off only the second sphere thrown and a 5% capture chance it was done, he had caught this badass Pal and was able to sigh some relief and smile at this victory.
Way out in the desert amongst the hot sun, sits the small place called Duneshelter which is quite heavily guarded with multiple soldiers waiting for troublemakers to start on people. The waypoint there was unlocked and merchants were checked, nothing was bought yet nor were any Pals.
An exciting battle rage in another location though as the Univolt boss was challenged. The Pal for the job was none other than the mighty Suzaku for its first real test and from how the battle went, 477 was very impressed even if he didn't manage to catch the Univolt boss.
Out amongst the lower leveled areas while looking to farm resources but also some extra Pals to use some of the normal spheres up, there were some shiny variations never before seen and due to how much higher of a level his Pals were, the crossbow was the tool for the job.
Depresso shiny was first to be attacked and with some strong hits, it didn't take long at all. It was weakened enough to be caught easily with 3 positive yellow traits due to it being rarer. Shortly after taking out the fellow Depresso attacking him, 477 would find a shiny Ribbuny to be caught and with some crossbow attacks once more it would be yet another easy one to add to the collection and towards his shiny mob.
What he was doing got changed once more after both shiny Pals were caught as he moved to a high up level area called Mount Obsidian.
This place was basically a volcano and he would get to that after having a fight with a level 36 Bushi, a samurai type of Pal and this is something he would come to regret.. it used it's ability to slice at and almost one should 477 and give a mighty shock to the system but it was expected. After surviving and getting it low enough to attempt a capture, Bushi got out of the sphere and finished 477 off, putting his sword away and savouring his victory.
Back along the beach area on the way to the fishing village but avoiding Bushi this time, he manages to fight and capture a Fenglope as the next Pal with which he also gained a level up at the same time. Nothing further exciting happens along the beach luckily. The fishing village was a nice little spot with a great ocean view, sporting a large scorching egg to grab for the incubator and the usual Pal merchant and two item and gear merchants just nothing wanting to be bought yet and it was more to unlock the checkpoint here and have a look at.
With that bit of exploring done and after some tough fights and dying 477 went back to base two for a break to be greeted with a Syndicate raid, silly people thinking they could do much with the badass Pals that just annihilate them all!
