VR gaming - A look at what's to come

VR gaming will be brought to you by me!

Let me start by saying I have been very busy with enjoying my Oculus Rift S these last 2 weeks and it is the best thing I have ever bought. So I am working on getting together content to be able to share with everyone, including video footage while using my webcam to show me using my Rift S while playing, a variety of games to be recorded and screenshots taken.

Add in the announcement of the release for the Hive blockchain which brings into question, what Dapps and tribes/communities will come over to that chain? When will everything I use be accessible and what will have to be changed in my usual uploads to bring you the content?

Here is a look at some of No Man's Sky which looks so good in Virtual Reality. There are a number of things that will be visible upon seeing recording footage which will be in most likely a couple of weeks, whenever I find how I will be uploading video footage to share to the upcoming Hive blockchain. As the second picture shows, your inventory can be viewed like it is coming out of your hand plus there is much more to make it immersive and like you are really there, as an explorer of the universe and other planets, a big yes from me and my love of all this sci-fi and universe exploration dreams!

Of course we can't forget about VRChat, that's a load of fun with a variety of different world's to enjoy, weird people using weird avatars or being stupid in general. I am planning to play more of that over however long I feel like it, probably quite a while.

Here I am riding a swordfish or something that goes in circles and takes some practice to get on and catch a ride, took a heap of attempts but then I got on multiple times!

My normal gaming

I still have my Fallout 4 and Cities Skylines series to continue once I am able to. They will have more parts to come but I think I might take this extra week or two off from them to get the footage spare for extra weeks so as to avoid any delays.

Maybe I can look at screenshotting some other games in my Steam library in the mean time so posting to the Hive chain won't be as bare from me!

Working in Unreal Engine for VR game design

This one will take a while before I start bringing out some content to share in posts, which could be months yet depending how quickly I get it filled and when I am wanting to share it all.

It's quite fun though and I am slowly learning bits again that I previously forgot, slowly filling more into my starting level and making it into what I want and just enjoying it in general.

I made a couple of weapons able to be picked up and made this basic portal I am testing for teleportation purposes, to a new level instead of just having you transport there once completing something, with the cloudy material you see being animated.

See you all in the Hive mind called the Hive chain that will be amazing to be on and I am eager to start posting there!

VR will take off when console makers release a plug n play multi-headset system.
No TV required. Everyone's in the same game together, and can see each other.

It is already taking off more now, with Oculus Quest being an all-in-one headset, more is being brought out in VR and they keep making it more suitable to use with no motion sickness.

Bringing in extra equipment like sending signals along nerves in your body and such to make it feel real (to some extent) will add so much value in realism.

Euclidean and their holodeck/hologram technology, infinitely procedural etc, that will make VR and going into a virtual world so much more amazing.

I've been using my Quest more lately, they're slowly but surely adding more games. No Mans Sky looks amazing, I wish it was for Quest!

Just having PC is amazing! So doesn't matter what one.
You should see NMS in VR though, it is way better than screenshots.
I agree with more games getting added and think it's great to see.

Yeah screenshots of VR games always looks weird, it's so much different when you're in game and "there"!
