Swayanjatha Rice Plant ( A Legendary Plant)...

Good Morning Everyone,
There is a legend behind this plant. Sri Lanka had faced a Great Famine (103-89 BC) during the reign of King Vattagamini Abhaya, known as Walagambha. Locally we called the Great Famine "Baminithiya Seya". During that time, this plant we called "Swayanjatha" was cultivated to face the famine. (Legends say this plant was brought from an Alien world by Buddhist monks).
Unlike other Rice plant varieties, this plant can cultivate in Drought-Prone Areas, and the seeds contain high nutritious.
My father found a few of these seeds and planted them in our garden. We didn't cultivate & cooked those seeds yet. But birds like to eat these seeds.
