The museum of the NASA

What's up, people! Today I'm at the NASA Museum in Houston, a simply spectacular place that you can't miss if you are a space fanatic like me and you are in the United States. Let me tell you a little bit about this place that has me totally fascinated and unable to sleep.

My day started when some friends and I planned to go to Houston and look for several places that we could visit as a group and get to know a little bit. It was there when one of us exclaimed: Let's go to the NASA museum! I didn't even know there was one, and really close to us, and well, guess what, we headed over there.

First of all we ordered an Uber from the location where we were staying and we got there in about 45 minutes on a single road trip. To our surprise, being a little late, the museum was almost closing, but that didn't discourage us, so at least we got to appreciate the outside view of the museum, and yes, we took some pictures.

The history of this museum dates back to the 1970s, when it was just a modest visitor center for NASA's Johnson Space Center. But what an evolution it has undergone! Today it is one of the most impressive space museums in the world and the best in the United States of America.

The Boeing 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA) is a plane that can be seen with the naked eye from the outskirts of the site, as well as the Saturn V Rocket, which is a replica of the original NASA Apollo program, supposedly used to carry astronauts to the Moon. Of the two, the aircraft carrier is more impressive as it is a gigantic craft that is sometimes only visible in science fiction movies.

According to the signs, inside, you come face to face with the history of space exploration itself. There are so many things to discover here that it drives me crazy with excitement, and that I could not go inside and see smaller details such as astronauts' suits to equipment used in historical missions, and best of all is that it is not just a museum to look at, but you can interact and feel like a real astronaut inside.

Beyond excitement and adventure, this place is also an educational center that seeks to inspire young minds to explore the wonders of the universe through educational programs and special events, the museum promotes science, technology, engineering and mathematics in a unique and exciting way.

Even the whole area is like a full campus that makes references to NASA atributes due the buildings in the zone and the streets have wheter names or signs where you can go deep into the story of the space travels.

The NASA Museum in Houston is a place where history, science and imagination meet to celebrate the incredible human spirit of exploration and discovery in space. So you know, if you're ever in the area, don't hesitate for a second to visit and get there early! I assure you it will be an experience you'll never forget!
