My Entry To the Kitar Design Contest
I am joining the design contest of @dinglehopper what it is, submit a design intended for the thin star iron plate of a musical instrument called kitar in nivukti. That piece of thing covering the sound chamber like that of a guitar.

My design is simple and did not include the process anymore.

This drawing above is my final drawing of my idea. This is already easier because we are not designing the musical instrument itself just that metal plate. My idea is to capture the antlers of the deer character who will be using the instrument. So I drew an elegant shape to represent the antler then copied it so I have two identical antlers on both sides of the metal plate giving it a functional yet elegant look. The bottom part of the antler initially has a separate oval shape to represent the eyes but that would make it look cluttered so I fused them together giving it a nice flowing design. The triangular piece at the bottom represents the snout of the deer that's my idea and I was happy to realize that this is also functional as I can put the strings here. That's a design that's fun and functional. I didn't want it to look polished and perfect like a real guitar to fit the rugged landscape and culture of the nivukti world.
