Philippines particularly here in Mindanao contains lots of historical places and old civilizations. As many years has past, most of the areas were native people lived are completely vanished to the trace including its environment and the place were they lived in. For today's travel blog of mine is very simple but also very historical for me because I was decided to visit the Coconut farm here in Linangga. Not just a coconut farm but this place contains hidden stories of the living of Native people whos first occupied this areas. Linangga is a kind of Sitio here in the Municipality of Manticao, this place is located near at the Mountainous places of Manticao and it needs to crossed Manticao River.

This Sitio Contains only few houses and the entire place is filled with lots of Coconut trees, the most valuable and important plants to all who lives here. All of the residents here are farmers and they planted hundreds of coconut trees here in Linangga. It is quite far from crowded places and needs to travel almost an hour before reaching the place.

It is summer time already here in the place and the water level here at the river continues to decrease. People can build a simple bridge just like this one, made of bamboos and some big stones piled perfectly to used it as a stone bridge. This kind of activities is very traditional here every summer season and it helps for those who wants to visit here for adventure. The bamboo pieces is attached with wild vines so it will stick together and some Branches of the trees that used as a bridge posts.

There are elders who are very expert to point the place were old civilization takes place, some of the areas here is this site near at the cliff. According to the history, this area was once a medical place were Guirila fighters cured their wounds due to War. This plain areas was once a simple hiding spots and aside of that, A simple old Medical rooms was built here. But as Centuries has already past, the place are now covered with wild grass, big trees and coconut trees. It was already completely abandoned and turned into an agricultural land.

This place was once a thick Grassy site and aside of that, only Bamboo trees can be seen here that time. There are humors says that there was a big Box filled with lots of antique things buried in this place Durinf the Second World War. But they kept searching the exact place using metal tester. Now, lots of coconut trees planted in the place and some native hardwood trees like Molave and Mahogany also found here. Until now, they kept searching the buried antique things and it is very interesting stories I heard from the elders.

This spot here was once a place where the house of leader of the Native people built, it is surrounded with big trees that time and aside of that wild grass and flowers can also be seen. Fruit trees like Abana also grows in here and some farm raising animals like goats and Cows. The place is now totally abandoned living without a trace even some parts of the structures.

This road trail leads to the Bandera Mountain, the place were lots of Native people lived that time. The types of vehicles can only pass by here are Motorcycles, Bicycles, Tuk-tuk vehicles and even tricycles. This areas is not really a road trail, it was covered with lots of grass and wild plants.

This place was once a sugar cane extracting areas, big lumbers pulled by two Carabaos was here to help the sugar cane well extracted. An old chapel also built here, and according to the elders there was an old and antique statues buried somewhere here in this plain areas. But until now they did not find the exact place were the old thing burried. There are some archeologist and Antropologist wants to study the place and it is very intereting to know the history of this Sitio.

There are lots of Great Phenomenon happens here, big floods and landslide was also happens here resulting those big chunk of stones rolled down. But the most fascinating stories about this, is this big stone was a worshipping spots to all Native people here. This was once a clean site and don't have any wild grass grows but now, it is completely covered with wild grass including this worshipping stone.

Not far from the worshipping area is the very old stream. Unlike the bodies of water, this stream is very dry but it is a boundary point between Zone 8 in Barangay Paniangan and Zone 17 in Barangay Poblacion. It is very nice to know the historical activities of each place, aside of that we can learned lots of the old civilization. Visiting this place especially those who loves archeological activities is very fit for them. Until next posts, have a nice and safe travel to everyone.
