Hive Punks collaboration with Rising Star Game

In collaboration with Rising Star we now have a Hive Punk card that will be available shortly.

Rising Star is an idle game about playing in a band and playing your way up to a superstar. The Rising Star team prides themselves in making the game very accessible to free to play players while offering opportunities to those who want to speed up their progress by purchasing packs and cards off the secondary market.

Rising Star has over 7,000 active players and is only available on Hive.

You play Rising Star by completing missions to earn Starbits and experience while improving your skills and your band. You can turn in Starbits to purchase packs that include cards to improve your collection.

"Douglas" (aka S40 Douglas) is a Hive Punks branded card introduced to Rising Star that will be available in the next few days. Douglas is a rare (Blue) card that has a good balance of stats offering 75 fans, 100 skill, 3 luck, and 2 im.

Douglas will be available for purchase for 10 Hive on the Hive Punks website under the Promotions tab.

I will announce when S40 Douglas is available in the official Discord or you can just check back on the Hive Punks site from time to time. I do recommend joining Discord though.

I am working on some updates for Hive Punks as well as future collaboration opportunities. Hit me up if you have some ideas.

How many idea's do you want?

Though I do think one vital thing is missing from all these new game or collectable type projects on the chain.

We need 100 things to have 8 of them be good ones. That's a general rule. Even identical games one game will get more users than the other for some reason.

To make your collectable the one that everyone wants. You need sustainability. A reason why your collectable holds more value, in this environment the value of cards is key I think, Or more so the future value of a card. That there is a decent chance in 5 years the card still holds some value.

While I do not think it is possible is guarantee a price for a card. Especially a less common card. You can establish a minimum price per card for future times. To do so you would need to create a game generator account. (That's probably not the best phrase to use.) A game support account.

Very nice collaboration. My idea would have been to airdrop one Douglas NFT for every Hive Punk owner (with added supply). Rising Star players would have been interested in buying Hive Punks for future airdrops and Hive punks owners could have sold Douglas on the third market site nftmart. Both communities would have come together and interacted. This is great, but to add the airdrop feature to Punks on Hive would have been awesome.

I never really thought about, what it's like to be the king of the hill: always remaining vigilant and progressing to defend your position against all challengers. I'm a bit obsessive and the thought of that sounds brutal lol

I really like this collaboration and great job on that Punk, I can't wait to get one.

I have been playing Rising Star for almost two months and it's a very good game with a great community. Many of the people I have met over there, had never even heard of punks before and after I explained what Punks were they immediately purchased some off the market.

So, I can only imagine what will happen when this Rising Star Punk goes into circulation, it is like erecting a massive billboard for Hive Punks on many people's favorite game.

I love that you are doing this! Personally I love to see integration and cooperation amongst the Hive Ecosystem. 10 hive is pretty expensive in my opinion, thats equivalent of 100,000 starbits at current prices, I like to pay 30,000-50,000 for epics. I will of course buy 1 or 2, in support of your support, Please continue partnerships like this with Rising Star and possibly others like dCROPS, dCITY, Splinterlands, Exode.
