I don't meditate, but I have used it in the past and I have a technique similar to meditation to help me sleep when I cannot quite my brain.

That being said, I think a big part of meditation is eliminating stimulations and not adding them, so I wouldn't suppect it wouldn't be a good tool for meditation.

Agree with you on that. You are lucky, you have your methods to calm your mind to sleep. I found some tricks for myself too after I suffered from sleep disorders last year. Gadgets like these are not good but maybe suitable for people who cannot calm down naturally and their environment is not suitable.

It’s pretty simple.

Picture a white wall with no details in the distance. You don’t want to really see it just know it is there.

Everytime you think of something that distracts you, refocus on the wall, not directly but just make yourself aware of it.

The important thing is not to see details that will distract you.

I don’t need to use it often anymore but for a while it was the only way I could fall asleep.
