Back then, 3 years ago when I was still learning graphics design as a skill. I hated my boss so much because he was strict and disciplined.

I had wanted something I could start right away that will make me more money with little or no effort.

To sum it all up I was lazy. After suffering for sometime I decided to take training serious.

In a year I was already above average, my design skill was something worth looking. I was glad but aside having a good design skill, I found it difficult to sell myself.

*Questions like "What if people don't buy"

"What if I don't deliver well?"*

Questions like these were stumbling block between I and financial freedom.

Back to my discussion, I had the skill but didn't know how to sell it to make money for myself until I found out a few important things that needs to be put in place.

THE FOUR STEP BY STEP PROCESS TO SELL YOUR SKILL EVEN IF YOU ARE TOO SHY TO SELL

1. Nurture the mindset for growth

I realized I needed to think sales before I can actually make sales.

The mind is a powerful tool, it involves your ability to capture imaginations and control the process of making the imagination a reality.

If you want to sell yourself to financial freedom, the first step is to adopt a better mindset. Allow your mind grow beyond its limitation.

2. Master the art :

Competence is the only reason why you are paid.

My first ever graphics work was so bad that the lady had to ignore me for a month😅.

Competence is the state of mind in which you can deliver anytime, any day without giving unnecessary excuses.

The question is simple " Can you defend your skill if you are ever given a chance to showcase what you can do?

3. Give Value consistently :

Selling is a game of numbers. To acquire the numbers you need to give value .

Value is determined by the audience. It simply means "Value is when you are able to communicate what people wants to hear or a state of mind where what you say or do can move a person from a lower level to a higher one"

When you give enough value, you gather the numbers. When you gather the numbers, you are able to sell to them ✅
