I MADE MORE SALES WITH THIS APPROACH

As a digital Marketer it is essential we create and develop sales funnels so as to make more sales.

I had always struggled with sales, many times I develope a digital product, add a few captions; sometimes long and sometimes short with the aim of enlightening my audience on the benefits of my products and many times, they just pass through and nothing happens.

I did reduce my pricing, with the hope of making more sales but the results were the same.

I was frustrated as a young hustling not who doesn't eat for the day without making a sale.

Selling to me was a duty, a mandated responsibility. I didn't have a choice, I needed to find out how to make it work.

After deliberating for a very long time, I was able to highlight a few reasons why people don't buy.

A FEW REASONS WHY PEOPLE DON'T BUY YOUR PRODUCT

1. Sometimes they need a better reason to buy

After a long run trying to join the missing piece together, I realized many people just want a better reason to buy.

Customers are very good at ignoring messages whenever they feel there's no need to have that product or probably they assume the products doesn't speak enough value to them.

Problems like this isn't a result of your product not having value, the major problem is how the product was presented.

A scene happened a few weeks ago, I needed to sell a masterclass to a lady who wanted to learn how to write contents and articles, she asked for the price but I decided giving her the price immediately might shut down the conversation.

I pressed further to know her needs and after an understanding of what she needed, all I did was tell her my product will solve that problem in less than two weeks.

Afterwards we were able to talk price. I realized many times the price isn't the problem, the value presentation is where the problem lies.

When your product/ services doesn't seem valuable to your customers, they won't buy

2. They just need someone to help them press the Buy button

I realized following up on customers can really help them make decisions.

Many customers tend to withdraw maybe due to funds or just an inch of trust, it is the duty of the sales man to check in and try to solve such problem.

With follow-up I have been able to close more sales than 5 months ago all combined.

3. You haven't taken time to reach out to your audience.

The game of sales is a game of numbers. Many times my boss will say " If the mountain doesn't want to come to you, take your tools and go to the mountain".

The last two weeks I took my time to research where my audience are and all I did was tell them I could hel them solve this problem.

If we take time to bring in new leads and prospect, a higher tendency of making massive sales is certain.

I'm not a pro when it comes to selling but these little tips have helped me sell more than ever.
