My first ebook took me three days to write and 1 week to proofread to be sure I got it right.

I had a mixed feeling for another one week. It was a battle of "Is it the best time to launch or not"

To me after proofreading I found no error and this was due to the fact that I only knew little.

Knowing a little was a disadvantage because I can only correct within the scope of my knowledge.

I did launch my first ebook. It was a business ebook I wrote to share my business mistakes and wins.

I had a beautiful knowledge of marketing. I didn't find it difficult getting eyes to see my ebook, my graphics design skill was also manageable. All I needed was a good book and other factors will follow suite.

I took the courage to launch. The request rate was high and unexpected, it seemed like I was getting the whole thing right.

I was happy. The euphoria of being able to successfully get things done for the first time filled my heart.

After a week, I received my first review and it said...

" Your book is insightful but not good enough"

"Your book sucks, you should stop sharing it with people"

I felt lost and disappointed. For a month I still didn't get over the feeling. For a month I didn't write a word, I was just brooding on the comments I got.

After a month, I found a few secrets which if I had known, I wouldn't have experienced chronic emotional trauma.

3 MOST IMPORTANT ADVICE FOR EVERY BEGINNER

1. WRITE EVERYDAY EVEN IF YOU GET REJECTED :

Quiting as a writer is a waste of time and resources. 90% of those who requested for my first every written Ebook said dangerous words to me. I decided to take a break from writing, the moment I came back, I realized my skill has reduced in quality.

Rejection is certain, the only way to be good is to write everday.

After series of unwanted words, I decided for every rejection i will write a 1,000 words.

After 30days I was better than my previous self.

The magical formula is to write everyday. The only way to be a good writer is to forget rejections and write everyday.

✅ DON'T JUST WRITE FOR FUN, ENSURE YOU MONETIZE YOUR SKILL.

Another encouraging factor is when money is included. Writing is fun but don't you think getting paid for it is also worth it?

I started with the desire to help people. My definition of help is to give someone something freely. I stayed broke and hungry when other writers grew fat with glowing faces.

I made a move to make money, I placed a price on my ebook, I placed a product around my content and in a few months I was already making money and at the same time helping people.

You can help people and still make money. Don't do one and leave the other.

✅ ENSURE YOU READ AND PRACTICE:

Reading is important. A good writer always take time to read books.

When I was told to make reading a habit, I had thought I needed to read a book a day or read as much as I can but reading isn't choking yourself daily with plenty ideas to capture.

Reading requires planning and strategy. Plan a reading calendar, plan a strategic move to ensure every eye sees the next product.

An understanding of these few points was what saved me from myself.

I came across this video and I thought to share it with you. Ensure you enjoy and also leave a comment.
