Little wings, big presence. 🦋💝

समुदाय के प्यारे सदस्यों को नमस्कार। मुझे आशा है कि आप सभी अच्छे होंगे और अपने प्रियजनों के साथ गुणवत्तापूर्ण समय का आनंद ले रहे है।

This little butterfly was resting quietly on a plant that was growing right beside a huge rock wall. At first, it wasn’t showing much of itself. Its wings were closed, and all I could see was the outside part of them. From that angle, the butterfly looked very delicate and simple, but not in a boring way. The wings were light brownish with clean markings along the edges. There were tiny details on the sides, like orange and red spots and a thin white border.

यह छोटी सी तितली एक पौधे पर बड़ी शांति से आराम कर रही थी, जो ठीक एक विशाल पत्थर की दीवार के पास उग रहा था। शुरू-शुरू में वह अपने बारे में ज़्यादा कुछ दिखा नहीं रही थी। उसके पंख बंद थे और मुझे बस उनका बाहरी हिस्सा ही दिखाई दे रहा था। उस कोण से तितली बहुत नाज़ुक और साधारण-सी लगी, लेकिन बिल्कुल भी उबाऊ नहीं। उसके पंख हल्के भूरे रंग के थे जिनके किनारों पर साफ़ रेखाएँ बनी हुई थीं। पंखों के किनारे-किनारे छोटे-छोटे बारीक विवरण थे।जैसे नारंगी और लाल धब्बे और ऊपर से एक पतली सफ़ेद सीमा।

I stayed there quietly, watching and capturing its every little movement. After a while, it finally chose to bless me with a glimpse of its open wings, though only for a moment, as it kept shifting and soon folded them back again.

मैं वहीं चुपचाप खड़ी उसकी हर छोटी-छोटी हरकत को कैद कर रही थी। कुछ देर बाद उसने आखिरकार अपने खुले पंखों की एक झलक दिखाने का फ़ैसला किया, लेकिन वह ज़्यादा देर रुका नहीं—लगातार हिलता-डुलता रहा और फिर से पंख समेट लिए।

I stood still, just watching, and after a few minutes again.. the butterfly decided to open its wings.The upper side of its wings was darker, with a soft brownish shade, but the most striking orange marks were near the bottom. They looked like tiny flames burning on the edges of its wings. Around the wings, there was a thin but sharp white outline that gave the butterfly a very neat and defined look.

मैं स्थिर खड़ी बस उसे देखती रही, और कुछ ही मिनटों बाद… तितली ने दोबारा अपने पंख खोलने का निश्चय किया। उसके पंखों का ऊपरी हिस्सा गहरे रंग का था, जिसमें हल्की भूरी-सी छाया झलक रही थी। लेकिन सबसे आकर्षक नारंगी निशान नीचे की ओर थे—मानो पंखों के किनारों पर छोटी-छोटी लपटें जल रही हों। पंखों के चारों ओर एक पतली मगर तेज़ सफ़ेद रेखा बनी थी, जिसने तितली को एकदम सुथरी और स्पष्ट रूपरेखा दी थी।

It was honestly a very beautiful and rare moment. The butterfly remained still for quite some time, allowing me to take pictures from different angles. Even though it was so tiny, it didn’t seem scared at all, instead, it looked calm and carefree. What I liked the most was the simple way it shifted and moved on the plant.

सच कहूँ तो वह वाकई एक बहुत ही सुंदर और दुर्लभ पल था। तितली काफ़ी देर तक स्थिर रही, जिससे मुझे अलग-अलग कोणों से तस्वीरें लेने का मौका मिला। इतनी छोटी होने के बावजूद उसमें ज़रा भी डर नहीं था, बल्कि वह शांत और बेफ़िक्र-सी लग रही थी। मुझे सबसे ज़्यादा अच्छा उसका पौधे पर सधे हुए और सहज तरीके से इधर-उधर हिलना और चलना लगा।
