There are many such places around us, which are very old and are also associated with people's faith. In many such places, many beautiful old sculptures are also made or there can be many very old trees. All these things are very attractive and the stories related to that place are many more thrilling.
There are many such places in our India, genes have a deep connection with the faith of the people and the stories related to these places are even more surprising.
Similarly, there is a temple near my house, which is known for its own unique story. This temple is not very big but it is very beautiful. Many idols have been installed in this temple and all the idols are very beautiful and attractive, but the most special idol here is that of Sodal Baba, this temple has been built in the name of him.
A fair is also held here every year in Jalandhar for Sodal Baba and people from far and wide come to see this fair. There is also a lot of crowd in this fair and people believe that if milk is offered to Sodal Baba on such a day, then all his wishes will be fulfilled.
There is a very big Sodal Baba idol in this temple and there is a story associated with this idol.
Story
According to this story Sodal Baba when he was a small child, he went with his mother to a river bank and she was washing clothes. But because Sodal Baba was repeatedly pouring soil on his mother's washed clothes and troubling her. So his mother got angry and asked Sodal Baba to die by jumping in the same river.Because of which Sodal Baba jumped into that river and shortly after, a snake emerged from that river whose face was that of a human. From that day onwards this temple came to be known as Sodal Baba.
In which temple the idols of Sodal Baba, Radha Krishna and Maa Durga have been installed. All these sculptures are made of white stone which makes them very beautiful and attractive to look at.
There is also a big Peepal tree under which small temples have been built and the idol of Lord Ganesha is also there in these temples.
There is also an idol of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati made of white stone.
And idol of Hanuman ji has been built here, on which orange colored vermilion is applied, which makes this idol even more attractive and beautiful. And there is also a story related to Hanuman ji being in this form and we will talk about this story again sometime.
