Writing Prompt: “over the edge”, entry posted by thepavsalford
Hello, dear members of the Freewriters community!
How are you doing?

Thank God, he had taken his wife with him to keep him company, and strangely enough, chatting with her proved to relieve some of the pressure of driving long hours.
What he hated more than anything else when driving on a motorway was how other drivers drove like they were playing playing a video game and racing a supercar, without any connection to real-life driving.

“OMG, I didn’t realize it. Am I going over the speed limit?”, he asked his wife.
“Err, you’re only going 2 miles over over the limit, sweetheart. I don’t think they will stop you for that”.
But unfortunately for him, they did, as they signaled to him to slow down and park behind the police car.
“What’s this?”, he said talking to his wife. “Are they stopping only me for driving 2 miles over the limit, when I saw so many other drivers going like rockets?!! It's my lucky day...”
