Episode 52: A Giotrix Conversation

Welcome back aboard the bus with the People's Guild as we bring to you another episode and another wonderful guest.

This week we welcome in a guest from down in Australia where our friends and fellow podcasters run the fantastic Splinterlands 101 show. Over the past few months, we've welcomed in two of the co-hosts, @mattclarke and @bobaphet, and it was time to get the last of the 101 crew on here at the show.

We're stoked to finally have been able to make it happen, so without further ado, please join us in welcoming in @giotrix to the People's Guild!

Gio treats us to the tale of his long and winding road to Splinterlands - through the Steem blockchain to his failed crypto ventures to the Hive blog and finally to the unsettled lands of Praetoria.

With the advent of land surveying, we dive into the new era of Splinterlands - where it is truly Manifest Destiny.

It's a time like no other in our beloved corner of the Hive blockchain and we have a blast speculating on what could be - the marriage of guilds & land, the Secret of Praetoria, and more.

We round out the episode as we hypothesize on what's to come with Soulbound cards, Rebellion, and beyond.

There's always so much more left to be discussed, but we sure cover a ton of ground in this one!

As an aside, but on a related note, the further we dive into this community we're all a part of, the more we are pleasantly surprised with the amazing people that have come to call this place home. We're always left buzzing after our conversations with each of our guests and hope you'll enjoy this one as much as we did!
