¡Hola a todos!

Sé que a final de cuentas no he estado haciendo tantos posts como he prometido y tampoco he tenido la actividad que pensé que tendría, aunque últimamente sí he estado estando por aquí y por allá, para nadie es un secreto que he estado jugando Albion básicamente más de 8 horas al día.

Principalmente el motivo por el que comencé a jugar este juego fue por el dinero, luego se unió gente como @oldfool, @perceval y @mrwisu, quienes han hecho esta experiencia mucho más satisfactoria.. pero ahora definitivamente Albion ya es parte de mi vida diaria y también he conocido a muchas personas increíbles que nos han brindado muchos momentos de diversión hasta ahora.

Luego de haberlo pensado lo suficiente noté que a pesar de narrar un poco de mis historias, jamás he contado de forma directa todo lo que hago o con qué personas me junto. Así que, hoy empezaré a contar un poco más de mi historia en Albion como tal.

Hace mucho tiempo yo estaba en un gremio llamado Your Last Breath, un gremio principalmente zvz que era manejado por un viejo conocido. Para esa época (mis comienzos en Albion) yo no podía participar en zvz ya que no tenía mucha fama y tampoco tenía ningún arma en la que especializarme, y luego de un tiempo y luego de haber conversado con el dueño del gremio BlackKamikaze (llamado @powercyclonic, quién ya tiene una cuenta en Hive y espero que pronto esté publicando en Hive Gaming) terminé uniéndome a este gremio, llevando ya unos largos 2-3 meses compartiendo con la gente más loca y divertida que he podido conocer en Albion.

Al comienzo de todo nuestro gremio estaba en una alianza llamada Argus (Union of Avalon), una ally compuesta de mayormente latinos y en la que aprendí a hacer una gran cantidad de contenido PVE gracias a más miembros de la alianza y también personas dentro del gremio. En esta alianza fue donde aprendí las bases de lo que es Albion en sí y aprendí a enfocarme en un solo objetivo para poder ser lo más eficiente posible; intentar hacer de todo en Albion es básicamente imposible, y al mismo tiempo serás bueno en todo, pero no serás excelente en algo.

Es por esto que había tomado la decisión temporal de utilizar las hachas y alcanzar la maestría máxima (700) con todas las hachas dentro del juego.. decisión que cambió poco tiempo después (ya explicaré por qué).

Otras cosas que aprendí mientras nuestro gremio estuvo en esta alianza es en no confiar en nadie.

Bueno, no literalmente, pero gran parte de Albion se basa en las relaciones que construyes dentro del juego, por lo que con solamente llegar a una alianza no puedes comentarle todos los planes que hará tu gremio en específico. Un día estuvimos haciendo un transporte masivo de cosas del gremio y cada integrante tenía una tarea en específico: A mí y a @mrwisu nos tocó cuidar un portal e ir indicando quiénes pasaban a la zona donde estábamos haciendo el transporte.

Aquí comencé a notar lo masivo que es este juego en realidad.

Con solo ver monturas como los Juggernauts noté que hacer mazmorras solo era la punta del iceberg de lo que trata este juego en realidad, por lo que todas las horas de grindeo valdrían totalmente la pena para poder llegar a los niveles más altos de Albion.

En todo mi progreso en Albion estuve probando infinidad de cosas, aún recuerdo el primer día que lanzaron las "nieblas", una nueva zona en todo Albion que simplemente está hecha para farmers y personas que les guste el contenido en solitario o en dúos. Actualmente a mí no me gusta debido a que la mayoría de personas que vienen a estos lugares son personas con más de 1600 de IP y que ya llevan bastante tiempo en el juego (son experimentados). Prefiero ahorrarme la mala experiencia y casi nunca voy allí.

Pero hey, al menos valió la pena probarlas el primer día junto a @perceval.

En Albion es muy importante el trabajo en equipo y tener que apoyar cualquier gremio en el que estés. Una de las tareas que teníamos todos los integrantes del gremio (bueno, no es una tarea pero al final es algo benéfico para todos los integrantes del gremio) era meter orbes en el HO (el escondite donde vivíamos) para que así se mantuviera con un alto nivel de poder y jamás peligrar de que puedan tumbarlo en algún momento.

Recuerdo que al comienzo intentaba meter prácticamente cualquier orbe que veía, así costara mi vida haha.

Junto a la actualización de las mists (nieblas) también incluyeron el encantamiento .4, que probablemente no sepan qué significa, así que intentaré explicarlo:

En Albion cada equipamiento para una build tiene un tier (nivel), yendo desde el tier 2 hasta el tier 8 como máximo, y cada tier a partir del 4 puede ser encantado hasta tener 3 encantamientos, por lo que un arma tier 4 con 3 encantamientos se llama 4.3.. hasta que incluyeron la actualización de las Mists en diciembre.

Desde esta actualización todas las armas y equipamientos podían ser encantados con un 4to encantamiento, haciéndolas muchísimo más poderosas. @mrwisu y yo vimos nuestro primer lagarto con encantamiento 4 y decidí tomarle screenshot por lo épico que se veía.

Luego de un tiempo y una gran disputa que ocurrió en la alianza Argus, BlackKamikaze decidió mudarse de alianza y declarar la guerra a todas las personas dentro de Argus

Luego de mudarnos de Sectun-Tersas (lugar donde se encuentra nuestro HO rodeado de otros HO de personas de Argus) llegamos a un mapa llamado Settun-In-Nusis, un mapa muchísimo mejor en comparación a Tersas y con mobs que dan mucha más fama y al mismo tiempo podemos crecer de forma más acelerada en comparación a Tersas. Decidimos abandonar Argus y nos mudamos a una alianza llamada JUST, una alianza más grande y con personas con más experiencias en el ámbito PVP del juego.

En este punto apenas había llegado a los 100m de fama. Una cifra que honestamente pensé que alcanzaría en más tiempo y en un abrir y cerrar de ojos terminé alcanzando, aunque es aún más increíble toda la cantidad de fama que he logrado alcanzar en menos de un mes (estoy casi cerca de los 200m de fama, casi 100m de fama en menos de un mes XD).

No estoy tan orgulloso porque mi fama por artesanía y mi fama por recolección no han cambiado tanto, pero hey, al menos tengo un montón de armas y ropas con alto nivel de especialidad.

El resto de mis aventuras son un montón de cosas que es común ver que suceden en Albion, por ejemplo: Huir de gankers.

Y en los tiempos más rudos de la economía de nuestro gremio, el líder decide vender fotos de su mamut de comando

Debido a que unos gremios externos a la alianza querían entrar y apoderarse de nuestro mapa, tuvimos que entrar en modo de guerra e invertimos bastante silver en sets de pelea para todo lo que se avecinaba. Aquí tuve un fuerte golpe en mi economía personal ya que todo el silver que tenía lo había invertido en mis sets de pelea (que eran relativamente caros).

Es bastante curioso porque nos preguntábamos cómo era posible que un gremio externo a la alianza pudiera llegar tan fácilmente y plantar un HO en nuestras narices sin que uno de nosotros pudiera notarlo, pues: Fue simple. En nuestra alianza había un gremio traidor que se encargó de darle información y también de darle hospedaje a las personas que querían infiltrarse en nuestro mapa.

Nosotros terminamos descubriendo esta conexión debido a que pudimos ver cómo un integrante del gremio que nos estaba atacando estaba entrando al HO de uno de los gremios de nuestra alianza. Dado esto, tuvimos que defender el mapa de los atacantes y también del gremio traicionero.

Otra cosa que comenzamos a notar en estos tiempos de guerra fueron nuestros alrededores. Al estar en una alianza que estaba un poco más balanceada con el ámbito pvp, también tuvimos que adaptarnos y comenzar a mejorar en el pvp y las peleas en general dentro de Albion. He de admitir que hemos mejorado un montón desde entonces, pero un día llegó un usuario que hasta ahora sigue siendo nuestro némesis: Su nombre es "MrMecu".

Es gracioso pensar que un solo usuario puede hacer que nos tengamos que esconder en nuestro HO, pero eso es lo que hacemos cada vez que vemos este nombre cerca. A pesar de ganar el 90% de las peleas que iniciamos, MrMecu un día llegó y nos hizo morder el piso con su party de 6 personas y estando con una build relativamente barata en comparación con las nuestras.

Para que tengan una idea de lo bueno que es este jugador: Mi fama pvp ni siquiera llega a los 10 millones, mientras que la de MrMecu supera los 1.5 billones de fama pvp. ¿Tienen idea de la cantidad de tiempo que este jugador ha invertido en matar a otros jugadores? Es simplemente una leyenda caminando entre nosotros, y aún no estamos preparados para ganarle a un jugador de este calibre.

Pero hey: Hasta ahora, hemos logrado salir vivos de la mayoría de las guerras que hemos tomado.

No quiero hacerlo más extenso porque hasta ahora he resumido mi historia dentro de Albion Online y de cómo haber conocido a BlackKamikaze me ha hecho invertir más de 12 horas diarias a este juego. ¿Ha valido la pena? Supongo que el tiempo lo dirá, pero hasta ahora, he podido notar que estoy cada vez más cerca de poder cumplir mi meta para retirar silver y por fin ver algo de ganancias al jugar este juego.

Hello everyone!

I know that at the end of the day I haven't been making as many posts as I promised and I haven't had the activity I thought I would have, although lately I have been here and there, it's no secret that I've been playing Albion basically more than 8 hours a day.

Mainly the reason why I started playing this game was for the money, then people like @oldfool, @perceval and @mrwisu joined, who have made this experience much more satisfying.. but now definitely Albion is already part of my daily life and I have also met many amazing people who have given us many fun moments so far.

After giving it enough thought I noticed that despite telling a bit of my stories, I have never told in a straightforward way everything I do or the people I hang out with. So, today I will begin to tell a little more of my story in Albion as such.

A long time ago I was in a guild called Your Last Breath, a mostly zvz guild that was run by an old acquaintance. At that time (my beginnings in Albion) I couldn't participate in zvz since I didn't have much fame and I didn't have any weapon to specialize in, and after a while and after having a conversation with the guild owner BlackKamikaze (called @powercyclonic, who already has an account in Hive and hopefully soon will be posting in Hive Gaming) I ended up joining this guild, taking already 2-3 months sharing with the most crazy and funny people I've met in Albion.

At the beginning of all our guild was in an alliance called Argus (Union of Avalon), an alliance composed of mostly latinos and where I learned to do a lot of PVE content thanks to more alliance members and also people inside the guild. In this alliance was where I learned the basics of what Albion itself is and I learned to focus on a single goal in order to be as efficient as possible; trying to do everything in Albion is basically impossible, and at the same time you will be good at everything, but you won't be excellent at something.

This is why I had taken the temporary decision to use the axes and reach the maximum mastery (700) with all the axes in the game... a decision that changed shortly after (I will explain why).

Other things I learned while our guild was in this alliance is not to trust anyone.

Well, not literally, but a lot of Albion is based on the relationships you build in-game, so just by joining an alliance you can't tell them all the plans your specific guild will make. One day we were doing a massive transport of guild stuff and each member had a specific task: me and @mrwisu had to guard a portal and go indicating who passed to the area where we were doing the transport.

Here I started to notice how massive this game really is.

Just by seeing mounts like Juggernauts I noticed that doing dungeons was just the tip of the iceberg of what this game is really about, so all the hours of grinding would be totally worth it to be able to reach the highest levels of Albion.

In all my progress in Albion I've been trying a lot of things, I still remember the first day they launched the "mists", a new zone all over Albion that is simply made for farmers and people who like solo or duo content. Actually I don't like it due to the fact that most of the people who come to these places are people with more than 1600 IP and who have been in the game for quite some time (they are experienced). I prefer to save myself the bad experience and almost never go there.

But hey, at least it was worth it to try them out the first day together with @perceval.

In Albion it is very important to work as a team and have to support whatever guild you are in. One of the tasks we all had in the guild (well, it's not a task but in the end it's something beneficial for everyone in the guild) was to put orbs in the HO (the hideout where we lived) so that it would stay with a high level of power and never be in danger of being knocked down at some point.

I remember that at the beginning I tried to put practically any orb I saw, even if it cost my life haha.

Along with the mists update they also included the .4 enchantment, which you probably don't know what it means, so I'll try to explain it:

In Albion every equipment for a build has a tier (level), going from tier 2 to tier 8 at most, and every tier starting from 4 can be enchanted up to have 3 enchantments, so a tier 4 weapon with 3 enchantments is called 4.3... until they included the Mists update in December.

Since this update all weapons and equipment could be enchanted with a 4th enchantment, making them a hell of a lot more powerful. @mrwisu and I saw our first lizard with enchantment 4 and I decided to take a screenshot of it because of how epic it looked.

After some time and a big dispute that happened in the Argus alliance, BlackKamikaze decided to move to another alliance and declare war to all the people inside Argus.

After moving from Sectun-Tersas (place where our HO is surrounded by other HO of people from Argus) we arrived to a map called Settun-In-Nusis, a much better map in comparison to Tersas and with mobs that give much more fame and at the same time we can grow in a more accelerated way in comparison to Tersas. We decided to leave Argus and we moved to an alliance called JUST, a bigger alliance and with people with more experience in the PVP area of the game.

At this point I had barely reached 100m of fame. A figure that I honestly thought I would reach in more time and in the blink of an eye I ended up reaching, although it's even more incredible all the amount of fame I've managed to reach in less than a month (I'm almost close to 200m fame, almost 100m fame in less than a month XD).

I'm not that proud because my fame for crafting and my fame for collecting haven't changed that much, but hey, at least I have a lot of weapons and clothes with high level of specialty.

The rest of my adventures are a lot of things that are common to see happen in Albion, for example: running away from gankers.

And in the hardest economic times of our guild, the leader decides to sell photos of his command mammoth.

Because some guilds outside the alliance wanted to enter and take over our map, we had to go into war mode and we invested a lot of silver in fighting sets for everything that was coming. Here I had a strong blow in my personal economy since all the silver I had was invested in my fighting sets (which were relatively expensive).

It is quite curious because we wondered how it was possible that a guild outside the alliance could come so easily and plant an HO under our noses without one of us being able to notice it, well: It was simple. In our alliance there was a traitor guild that was in charge of giving information and also hosting people who wanted to infiltrate our map.

We ended up discovering this connection because we could see how a member of the guild that was attacking us was entering the HO of one of the guilds of our alliance. Given this, we had to defend the map from the attackers and also from the treacherous guild.

Another thing we started to notice in these times of war was our surroundings. Being in an alliance that was a bit more balanced with the pvp arena, we also had to adapt and start getting better at pvp and fighting in general within Albion. I must admit that we have improved a lot since then, but one day came a user that until now is still our nemesis: His name is "MrMecu".

It's funny to think that a single user can make us have to hide in our HO, but that's what we do every time we see this name around. Despite winning 90% of the fights we started, MrMecu one day came along and made us bite the floor with his 6-person party and being with a relatively cheap build compared to ours.

To give you an idea of how good this player is: My pvp fame doesn't even reach 10 million, while MrMecu's is over 1.5 billion pvp fame. Do you have any idea how much time this player has invested in killing other players? He is simply a legend walking among us, and we are not yet prepared to beat a player of this caliber.

But hey: So far, we've made it out of most of the wars we've taken on alive.

I don't want to make it longer because so far I have summarized my story inside Albion Online and how meeting BlackKamikaze has made me invest more than 12 hours a day to this game. Has it been worth it? I guess time will tell, but so far, I have been able to notice that I am getting closer and closer to being able to meet my goal to withdraw silver and finally see some profit from playing this game.
