My X (twitter is doing good) however inleo is making life great for everyone

What is your twitter X account worth?

I recently came across a site that would tell me the net worth of my X (twitter account). I was curious and I explored the option.
This is a free service being offered by https://infinitweet.com/ It can be accessed here https://infinitweet.com/account-worth/

This is not a non invasive evaluation

What I mean by this is that you have to give access to your account.
What that means is that it can do a number of things from your twitter account such as
“Authorize Tweets Your Beyond #F78F to access your account?”

Frankly I am not a fan of giving this kind of access to any third part app. Yet I was curious and went ahead.

Let us talk about the good part

It looks like the app takes into account the followers and the account activity that an account generates and comes up with a report.

Do followers matter?

It could be that the apps uses the follower count which is 3,164 Followers in my case.
It is flattering to see that my X.com or twitter account is worth $3386.70 and the price of a sponsored post is $42 per post.
This could be flattering for some people.

The not so flattering part

There is a tricky part that is quite scary. This part is giving your twitter/X.com access to a third party app.

The scary part about giving this kind of access is that it gives control of your account in ways you would not like to give control to another entity, especially for an account that you have built over time.

The terms look quite unfair and include

Follow and unfollow accounts for you.
Update your profile and account settings.
Post and delete Tweets for you, and engage with Tweets posted by others (Like, un-Like, or reply to a Tweet, Retweet, etc.) for you.
Create, manage, and delete Lists and collections for you.
Mute, block, and report accounts for you.

Yet if you see a person sharing his accounts net worth on x.com then you may be tempted to take the plunge and check out the details of your own account.

The internet is full of deceptions and losing my account to one such trick is certainly not my idea of having fun.
Yet here I am after having granted access to a third party app which can do all kinds of things to your account and content.
It may or may not be exploited is another thing however giving this kind of access to someone is quite scary.

What to do if you give access to a third party app?

You as a user have a right to revoke the access to any third party app.

How to Revoke access to ant app?

Make sure you are logged in to your twitter (x.com) account.
Visit “Settings and Privacy”
Next > goto the option “Security and account access” then, “Apps and sessions”
Under “Connected apps” you will see a list of all the third-party Twitter applications to which you have granted access.
