Cascada Del Mallín, the heart of a zen valley nourished with puryfing waters

Some eight kilometers from the urban area of Bialet Massé is located in a beautiful natural spa to take refuge from the heat: the Mallín stream waterfall. The water falls into a well that invites you to take a good dip or simply sit on the shore and soak your feet.

To get there, you have to go up Del Campillo street about five kilometers to the Mirador del Lago. Once you are in the Rosa Mística cave, you will have to leave the car in the area, walk to the corner, turn left and walk about five more blocks. The road to the place is dirt, and there are barbecue grills and a beautiful grove of trees that provide shade. As there are no groceries in the place, it is necessary to bring everything you need to spend the day.

The waterfall is one of the main natural attractions of the "Portal de Punilla". Others are the Labios del Indio (better known as “Las Loreras” or “Barrancas Coloradas”), some hills that due to the erosion of the waters of the Cosquín River seem to have been cut with knives; and the municipal spa, which is about 200 meters from the town's shopping center and has all the services.

Crafts and Magic

During the afternoons of January and February, next to the site of the Historic Furnace, an interesting walk for the whole family is added: the Paseo de los Artesanos, which from 8 pm is complemented by circus shows, acrobatics, magic, juggling and much more. .

How to get there

Bialet Massé is about 56 kilometers from the city of Córdoba and invites you to take advantage of the tranquility of its landscapes. You can go directly by national route 20 to the provincial route E55 that leads to this commune or by bus, with Grupo Sarmiento buses, at 150 pesos a ticket.
