So there’s this story all over the Internet about Dominik Mysterio needing elbow surgery, but I’m not buying it. He tweeted that he wasn’t going under the knife, and I believe him.
In wrestling, rumors circulate faster than a high-flyer off the ropes. Sometimes Dave Meltzer — the king of all wrestling news — gets it wrong. They talk about injuries and surgeries, but they might as well be throwing darts blindfolded.

And then there’s this idea that Meltzer plays favorites with wrestling companies. Some say he’s all in on AEW and the Young Bucks. But I really don’t care about any of that. All I want to know is what’s happening with Dominik?
But the fact is this – even if his elbow is messed up, there are other things that can be done to fix it rather than surgery. He might be doing physical therapy for all we know.
You know what’s most important?
That he’s looking after himself and doing what’s best for his career.
And I mean come on now – WWE needs Dominik. One of the fastest rising stars in the company with an insane amount of potential. If he can avoid having to go under the knife and get back into the squared circle faster, then that’s a win for all parties involved.
At the end of it all, wrestling is about one thing: entertainment for the fans. Whether it be WWE, AEW or any other promotion, we just want to see our favorites do what they do best inside those ropes. So here’s to hoping we see Dominik back in action soon whether his elbow hurts or not.
