Logan Paul vs. Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship

Did you watch the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown?

They wasted no time in announcing who's going after Cody Rhodes and his big WWE championship next. And guess who it is?

Logan Paul!

I was a little surprised that SmackDown’s boss Nick Aldis didn’t give us a proper explanation on why Logan’s getting the shot, but hey they went straight to the point by throwing Logan into the ring with Rhodes to talk some smack.

Logan’s angle was quite interesting. He brought up how both of them debuted in WWE at WrestleMania a few years ago but he maintains that he is more of a Star and better than him.

But then Cody did something unexpected. He instead of brushing off Logan, praised him heavily, admitting that he has achieved much so far and thus deserves to challenge for the title. Certainly Cody had to stand his ground and call out Logan for being disrespectful towards him as well as using unfair tactics such as brass knuckles.

Given the limited time they had to create this part, it was a decent piece. But that’s fine because I believe Saudi Arabia wanted this fight for some reasons. Logan has shown he can rise to the occasion when needed, and going up against Cody for a title is as big as it comes.

I can’t wait to see what happens next in this main event at the King & Queen of the Ring event. With Cody’s grappling abilities and Logan’s popularity; this will be a must-see match.
