How To Pay Your Upgraded Membership With Listnerds Tokens

Listnerds Utility

Most people have been asking and hoping for more utility for the Listnerds token. I've personally been waiting for the option to pay the upgraded memberships with Listnerds for a while. I knew that my unstakes would probably not be enough to get upgraded, so I started to buy some cheap Listnerds of the market once it was announced we could pay with Listnerds. I think this is a huge step forward to get the token price up and shake off the dumpers now that the inflation seems to be handled as well.

I paid my first subscription upgrade with Listnerds tokens a few days ago and I honestly love that it's possible. People that didn't have funds to upgrade with credit card, HBD or Hive, now have the option to use their unstakes and or buy Listnerds of the market if they don't have enough unstakes yet. It opens doors for many people, which is great!

How to pay your upgraded membership with Listnerds tokens

Upgrading and paying your membership is very easy, below you can find the few steps including screenshots. Go to your dashboard inside your Listnerds account, click on Upgrade:

Now pick the desired membership you wish to purchase:

Click on Pay with HivePay:

Click on please select a token and select Listnerds:

When you select Listnerds, the current price is shown (depending on the current market price in Hive engine, so it can differ depending on when you look):

If you agree on the price, click on the HiveKeychain button:

You will now make a transaction using your Hive keychain account as you do with any other token on Hive-Engine using Keychain. The process is the same.

It may take some time before the payment is received by Listnerds, so be patient if you can't see your upgrade in the account yet. Once it's registered, you will see it in the section "upgrade" on your dashboard:

That's it! I hope many people will start using this option as I can see how this will bring in more buy orders in the market.

Market prices

The market price determines the price of your membership and therefore it can be fluctuating a lot during the day how many Listnerds tokens you need to upgrade. I can see how this will cause some frustration if you think you finally saved up enough unstaked tokens and bought some in the market, noticing you suddenly need a lot more of them. I personally hope that the team can set a price for a set number of tokens to upgrade, even if it's just for a certain period so that more people are able to test the upgraded memberships.

Team sponsorships

In addition to the price for a set number of tokens, @amirtheawesome1 came to me with the idea of sponsoring a team member every once in a while in case they are dedicated to give them a month free upgrade. I love the idea and I would like to sponsor this together with him if the team decides to set the price at a lower number than the current average price of the upgraded memberships paid with Listnerds.

For example 1000 Listnerds for the enterprise membership, I think if the enterprise membership will be set at this price, the token price will also go up as members would be dumb to sell it for a fraction of this price. Just some food for thought, I hope it can be taken into consideration by the team.
