Bliss | A ZapFic Friday Story Submission
This short story is my submission for ZapFic Friday - Week 40 contest. Today's story prompt is, "moment"
Hours lost; after midnight, we walked in sullen silence down another dark alley. Finally, the warm light and soft jazz of a late-night speakeasy beckoned us to enter. Empty save for thousands of toy figures lined shelves on the walls, all smiling. For a moment, we smiled too, unaware.
