Weekly Prompt

DO YOU LIVE YOUR LIFE OR JUST FOLLOW A ROUTINE?

Most people have routines. They wake up, work or study, take care of responsibilities, spend time online, eat and sleep, then repeat the cycle the next day. Having a routine is a thing because routine makes life manageable and gives a sense of structure. At some point people might start to question whether routine is truly living or simply going through the motions. The question is not whether routine looks exciting on the outside, but whether you're choosing to spend your days wisely.

Are people actually choosing what they like or just putting up with what the routine has set? When was the last time you did something just because you wanted to?
