Harvest season for green beans.

We're nearing the end of July. We're almost at the harvest stage for the green beans we planted about 45 days ago. Some of the beans have already ripened. We'll start harvesting and consuming the ripe ones. Green beans are one of our most consumed foods during the summer. That's why we plant as many green beans as possible in our garden.

We planted the beans in the picture a little late. As you can see, the beans are still short. Harvesting these beans will begin in 20 days. Once the first batch of beans we planted is gone, harvesting these will still be ongoing. We can even harvest beans close to winter, as early as mid-November.
