Silence, Coolness, Health: Stone Houses
In the past, during my childhood, there were many stone houses. Later, as construction technology improved, the number of concrete houses and buildings gradually increased. As the number of concrete structures increased, the number of stone houses and stone house builders also increased. Today, only a few stone houses remain, and these houses fascinate me. Whenever I see these structures, I want to take their photographs.
Önceleri, çocukluğumda taş evlerin sayısı çok fazlaydı. Sonraları inşaat teknolojisi geliştikçe beton evlerin, yapıların sayısı giderek arttı. Beton yapıların sayısı artıkça taş evlerin, taş ev ustlarının sayısı arttı. Günümüzde tek tük taş ev kaldı ve bu evler oldukça ilgimi çekiyor. Bu yapıları gördükçe fotoğraflarını çekmek istiyorum.
Stone houses have very thick walls, which makes them excellent for insulation. This keeps the house warm in winter and cool in summer. Two different colors of stone are used in these houses: gray and brown. Both types of stone are sourced from volcanic rock. The stones have the same origin; only their colors differ. The building in the image was recently constructed. Brown stone was used in its walls.
Taş evlerde duvarlar oldukça kalın olduğu için yalıtım konusunda gayet iyi. Kış mevsiminde evin sıcak kalmasını, yaz aylarında evin serin kalmasını sağlıyor. Taş evlerde iki farklı renkte taş kullanıyor. Biri gri, diğeri kahverengi. Her iki tip taş, volkanik kayaçlardan elde ediliyor. Taşların kökeni aynı bir tek renkleri farklı. It's a very old, historic building. Due to its historical significance, its demolition or restoration is prohibited by law. Grey-colored stone was used in the walls.

It's a building constructed a few years ago. It's a madrasa, an institution for religious education. Grey-colored stone was used in the walls. The walls are quite thick, which provides a significant advantage in terms of insulation. Looking at this building from a distance, it evokes a very aesthetic feeling in me. It would have been better if I could have taken a photo of it from directly in front. Unfortunately, that's not possible.
Bir kaç yıl önce inşaa edilen bir yapı. Medrese, dini eğitimin olacağı bir kurum. Duvarlarda gri renk tip taş kullanıldı. This is the entrance to the municipal tea garden. The usage rights are held by a private operator. This striking structure stands at the entrance to the park. It's an attractive place to enter and sit. Brownish stone was used in its construction. It's been there for as long as I can remember. It's at least 20-30 years old, maybe even more. I will continue to take photos and share similar structures whenever I see them.
