The water of the creek was well drained

It snowed a lot, especially this year, where I live. It snowed so much that there were some who said that this snow wouldn't melt in June either. There is still snow on the high mountains.

Yaşadığım yerde özellikle bu yıl kar yağışı çok fazlaydı. O kadar çok kar yağdı kı, bu kar haziran ayında da erimez diyenler vardı. Yüksek dağlarda halen karlar duruyor.

Most of the stream waters in our region are snow waters. In summer, the entire stream consists of groundwater. There is actually a lot of groundwater where we are. The municipality carries most of the ground water to the houses. As such, the water of our stream decreases considerably in the summer months.

Bulunduğumuz bölgede dere sularının çoğunluğunu kar suları oluşturuyor. Yaz aylarında derenin tamamını yer altı suyundan oluşuyor. Yeraltı suları bulunduğumuz yerde aslında fazla. Yer sularının çok büyük kısmını belediye evlere taşıyor. Hal böyle olunca yaz aylarında deremizin suyu oldukça azalıyor.

When I was young, the stream water was plentiful before it touched most of the municipal groundwater. In addition, stream water is used to irrigate gardens and fields. Maybe it just seemed like too much to me because I was small. I learned to swim in stream water. Now I see that little children are not very interested in it.

Küçükken, henüz belediye yeraltı sularının büyük kısmına dokunmadan önce dere suyu çok fazlaydı. Ayrıca bahçe, tarla sulamak için de dere suyu kullanılıyor. Belki de küçük olduğum için bana çok fazlaymış gibi geliyordu. Yüzmeyi dere suyunda öğrendim. Şimdiler de bakıyorum küçük çocuklar buna pek ilgi duymuyor.

In my region, people prefer Van Lake for swimming. Lake Van is a blessing for us. Sometimes I think that people prefer Antalya for vacation for nothing.

Bulunduğum bölgede insanlar, yüzmek için van gölünü tercih ediyor. Van gölü bizler için bulunmaz bir nimet. Bazen insanların tatil için boş yere Antalya'yı tercih ettiğini düşünüyorum.
