03 Albums that marked my life and why? // 03 Discos que cambiaron mi vida y por qué?
Music, that often pleasant sound that reaches our hearts through our ears. It makes us vibrate, sing, dance and even shout for joy. Who hasn't ended up, in a night with friends, singing until they were hoarse.
My dear @evev invited me to participate in the initiative proposed by @ismaelgranado. After reading both posts I found it interesting, so here I am swimming with you among music, eighth notes, flats and silences, because music is also composed of silences!

Music is a companion of the human being from the very moment of our creation. Many times we unintentionally make music, either with our fingers while we wait, with our feet while we walk and of course with our mouth, instrument par excellence to create sounds.
COUNT AND SING - SIMON DIAZ
If you are Venezuelan, you can't deny that Simón Díaz's songs are a sweetness. Simón Díaz with his songs exalted the "tonada llanera" that was about to disappear and then came super uncle Simón and rescued it.
For me he is one of the most important Venezuelan characters in my life, I remember him since I was a little girl and he sings with Uncle Simon. Besides, who has not heard the songs: La Vaca Mariposa and Caballo Viejo, which by the way went around the world and has been covered in countless countries.
Over the years I read his book "Mis Querencias" and was fascinated by the plains and their stories, to finally get my hands on "Cuenta y Canta"... Simón Díaz in a gentle, calm manner tells the story behind the song, and then delight us with his tunes.
It is my favorite music in the afternoons, when I sit quietly to read.
ONLY HITS - ILAN CHESTER
For as long as I can remember Ilan Chester is retiring and doing his last concert hahaha. He never ends up retiring and is never going to do his last concert.
The first time I heard Ilan Chester was with the song "Cerro el Avila" a tribute to our mountain in Caracas. And I was not born in Caracas, "... I go from Petare to La Pastora, contemplating the mountain that decorates my city...". ... and certainly we have poets and painters who sing to that beautiful mountain that charges us with energy.
But to be honest the song that totally captured my being was "You are one in a million" and 20 years ago, just married, I was excitedly waiting for my husband to sing that song to me one day... hahahaha, I'm still waiting and I do not lose hope that one day they will dedicate it to me.

But I also have my rocker touch, so I tell you that I love Queen. The album Night at The Opera, released in 1975, broke new ground with its single "Bohemian Rapsody" which combines rock, ballad and opera! It is simply unique in its generation.
By the time the album was released, I was only 3 years old. But after Freddie Mercury's death in 1991, all the band's songs became fashionable, at that time I was 19 years old, and listening to that rock band marked in me the love for rock. I love all Queen's songs and as a detail, who doesn't remember "We are the champions".

La música es acompañante del ser humano desde el mismo momento de nuestra creación. Muchas veces nosotros sin querer hacemos música, ya sea con los dedos mientras esperamos, con los pies mientras caminamos y por supuesto con nuestra boca, instrumento por excelencia para crear sonidos.
CUENTA Y CANTA – SIMON DIAZ
Si eres venezolano, no puedes negar que las canciones de Simón Díaz son una dulzura. Simón Díaz con sus canciones enalteció la tonada llanera que estuvo a punto de desaparecer y llegó super tío Simón y la rescató.
Para mí es uno de los personajes venezolanos con mayor importancia en mi vida, lo recuerdo desde niña con cuenta y canta con tío Simón. Además quien no ha escuchado las canciones: La Vaca Mariposa y Caballo Viejo, que por cierto le dio la vuelta al mundo y ha sido versionada en infinidad de países.
Con el pasar de los años leí su libro “Mis Querencias” y quedé fascinada de los llanos y sus cuentos, para finalmente llegar a mis manos “Cuenta y Canta”… Simón Díaz de una manera amable, sosegada cuenta la historia detrás de la canción, para luego deleitarnos con sus tonadas.
Es mi música favorita durante las tardes, cuanto me siento tranquilamente a leer.
SOLO EXITOS – ILAN CHESTER
Desde que tengo uso de razón Ilan Chester se está retirando y está haciendo su último concierto jajaja. Nunca termina de retirarse y jamás va a hacer su último concierto.
La primera vez que escuché a Ilan Chester fue con la canción “Cerro el Ávila” un homenaje a nuestra montaña caraqueña. Y yo sin haber nacido en Caracas, “…voy de Petare a la Pastora, contemplando a la montaña que decora a mi ciudad…” … y ciertamente tenemos poetas y pintores que le cantan a esa hermosa montaña que nos carga de energía.
Pero para ser sincera la canción que captó totalmente mi ser fue “Eres una en un millón” y por allá hace 20 años, recién casada, esperaba emocionada que mi esposo me cantara esa canción un día… jajajaja, sigo esperando y no pierdo las esperanzas que un día me la dediquen.

Pero también tengo mi toque roquero, así que les cuento que me encanta Queen. El Disco Night at The Opera, lanzado en 1975 rompió esquemas con su sencillo “Bohemian Rapsody” que combina el rock, la balada y la opera! Es simplemente único en su generó.
Para la fecha de lanzamiento del disco, yo apenas tenía 3 años de edad. Pero luego de la muerte de Freddie Mercury, en 1991, todas las canciones de la banda se volvieron moda, en esa época yo tenía 19 años, y escuchar esa banda de rock marcó en mí el amor hacia el rock. Adoro todas las canciones de Queen y como detalle, quién no recuerda “We are the champions”

Comparto contigo esa selección de cantantes de Ilan me gusta otras canciones, pero eres una en millón te la pues cantar a ti mirándote al espejo, yo lo hago, así siembras tu propio y no esperas que nadie te lleve flores, jejeje.
