English version

Mother Nature's daughter

Once upon a time, when the world was just born and the purest beauty could be appreciated, Mother Nature walked the earth without hiding from anything, accompanied by her father. This was a giant grandfather who had to push aside the clouds to be able to see where to pass, and with arms so long that he could embrace the mountains with them, he was a wise being, and like all wise men, experience and the years gave him a white beard so long that it touched his feet.

The old father helped Mother Nature in her arduous task of creation, advising her with his wise words. A little worn out by the centuries that his hands had woven, the old man walked the earth mending with the needle of patience all the holes that time created in the planet.

One day, Mother Nature became pregnant with all the good and pure things she had created, the trees, the rivers, the seas, the sky and the earth, happy for the new life she carried in her womb, she painted life on earth for nine months with the most beautiful colors, hoping that when her son was born, he would appreciate the greatest beauties.

It was a girl, beautiful as a spring morning, with brown skin and hair as black as the feathers of a raven, and so small that she was barely visible in the palm of her mother's hand, and with a gleam in her brown eyes more intense than the sun's rays, her mother was very happy, as was her grandfather, and like a good grandfather, he immediately took a liking to the newborn.

As the days went by, the little girl enjoyed spending time with her grandfather, and in his long beard she found the perfect place to spend the days and the millennia, and there, she was protected from the cold in winter, she enjoyed the sea every morning when grandfather cooled his face by stretching his long beard over the ocean, and spread the foam of the entire sea.

She had the best view from there, and from there, she climbed up to her grandfather's sideburn, which she used to swing herself up to his ear, where she would sit for hours listening to the songs of the whales in the ocean, left in her ear by the breezes of the wind. So comfortable and at ease she felt living in her grandfather's beard, that she had never felt the fine grass on the ground.

One day, her mother decided to take her away, to teach her to walk barefoot, and sticking her hands inside the grandfather's beard, with the intention of pulling the girl out, frightened her, with the fear of shedding the gray hair she considered her home, she screamed so loudly that it echoed from gray hair to gray hair, making the grandfather's beard vibrate.

The grandfather was so frightened when he heard his granddaughter's cry, that with such a loud tone of voice he made the sky thunder and scolded his beloved daughter. Mother Nature was distressed, in spite of the centuries of her existence, she had never been scolded by her father, and turning her back on him she burst into tears, flooding the planet with her tears and erasing hope from the earth.

And so the days passed, while the salt of those tears traumatized the earth, making it infertile. Grandfather, for the first time, felt the dearth of wisdom, and spent his days lying on a hill thinking of his grieving daughter.

The girl, felt very sad about what had happened, even though it was what they loved the most, it was also the cause of their pain, so she decided to leave her grandfather's beard to find her mother, hoping to get her back to understand her father, but with no experience at the first step out of the beard, she fell from that mountain.

A scream of horror was felt, which broke the silence and alerted the mother and grandfather, and stretching out their hands, they found themselves at the very spot where the child fell, making a cushion of soft grasses grow out of the earth for their falling child, and so great was the fright that in an instant she grew up.
