From the Beginning until the End..

The thing I most wanted is the thing I most hated to do,
The thing that satisfies me is the thing that I rarely needed,
The thing I believe in is the thing I didn’t end up doing,
But it dragged me to where I am today.

The place I didn’t imagine being in, is the place where I am now,
The values I learned, is not what I didn’t end up needing,
The time I end up counting is the time I’m running away,
From the beginning until now, I can’t imagine everything.

But I wish I could be someone I really imagined to be,
I know I needed someone to like this from the beginning,
But am I running away from the person I wanted to become?
Will I still recognize the person I once was? From the beginning, until now.
