Blessed day to you all, it's another beautiful day today. I was Optus to witness some music concert and I saw a lot of action from from each of the contestants, not just a single music concert I attended. I went to a different location of musical concert it was yesterday though a lot of programs were done, so I decided to go to like 5 programs just to gain more knowledge with the once I already had, so what I noticed at the concert was that they couldn't fight stage fright. they were scared to face crowed.

As a musician, the first thing you need to do before going into the music industry is how to overcome stage fright. There are certain things you can do to overcome stage fright, firstly you need to build the confidence that you can do it no matter the challenges, after then try to gather your friends who you know they support your career put them together present in their front, at a Point they courage will increase gradually go for programs you are not invited register your name in the guest artist list. You will surely be checked, but the goal is the aim, so you work towards it.

When you are certain that you can overcome the stage fright even when you minster and people are talking bad about you. If you could help yourself to overcome it, then you are good to go. When I started playing talking drum to overcome, the fear of doing mistake was in me back then. But I came to remind myself that any mistake In music can be changed to arrangement and the audience wouldn't notice the mistake. You have to work really hard on ourselves before we just go out to minister or play. There is a pure difference between when a Nigerian plays an instrument or singe than that of the Americana. Their way of singing is unique and intelligent. Let's work really hard on our musical life before we minister to others. I hope this post will help my people out there.

Stage fright is one of the biggest wars we musicians have with ourselves. Self-confidence is definitely part of the solution, but we also have to free ourselves from that feeling of what people will say. Many do it, but others find it harder. I think I've fallen more into the part of what people will say about me and that has held me back in the past, but I've been working on it for a while now and I actually feel better. Interesting what I've read here brother 😉

It's good to device a mean to eliminate stage fright. However, I tend to disagree with the way you address Nigerian singer. Do you have an Americana that plays talking drum better than Nigerian? No. That's to tell you that culture differs so is music. Both are intelligent in what they do.

But why just talking drum because it's just a traditional stuff.... why not other Instruments?

Any instrument that you pick, talk of the origin and you would realize why some people or countries play it better than the other. All countries produce beautiful music and play instruments that is peculiar to them.
