Bon Island Beach and Rawai Beach Phuket, Thailand.
Phuket, Thailand, is known by tourists worldwide for its most pristine beaches and its clear crystal blue turquoise waters and for it's most stunning tropical sunsets and with my visits to Phuket Island, I totally agree I have no argument with that every beach that I step foot on in Phuket was just outstanding and the natural nature surrounding these beaches really made you feel you are on vacation on a stunning tropical island.
On this particular day, we had decided to head to Rawai Beach the reason was that from Rawai beach which isn't really a swimming beach it's more of a beach from where many long-tail boats and speed boats leave from to take you across the Andaman Sea to other islands but you can also walk along this long stretch of Rawai beach and on either end you will find nicer beaches to swim without the interference of the many boats.
The drive from Patong Beach to Rawai Town which was about 20km was quite charming passing through Chalong Town towards Rawai beach you go past Chalong Lake and across the lake you can see the temples of the town, I just had to stop to admire this beautiful scenery before moving on towards Rawai beach.

Rawai Town and Beach is known more as a fishing village-owned and run by the Muslim community, it is here where you will taste some of the best seafood on the island, and it's where the main retailers and restaurant owners will come and buy their fresh seafood from you will find many Thai locals here on weekends feasting on the best seafood, tables, and, chairs with sun umbrellas are lined along Rawai beach as far as you can see.

)
Once you have reached Rawai Beach you can either walk to either end of Rawai beach away from the village which is about a 2km walk to either end of Rawai beach or you can apot to bargain with a long-tail boat operator to take you to the nearby beaches on either side of Rawai beach one is called Bon Island beach and the other one is called Koh Kaeo beach we decided on Bon Island beach, it was only a 20-minute boat ride you can snorkel there or just spend the day relaxing and enjoying this little tropical beach hideaway.
)
Bon Island beach apart from it's soft pure white sand it has some beautiful big boulders and rock formations you can go hiking up through the forest following some small trails that lead you up on a hilltop overlooking the sparkling Andaman Sea where you will see the best sunsets or the angry clouds getting ready for that monsoon downpour.
If you wish to go over to the bigger islands from Rawai Beach they have these massive 4 engine speedboats that will get you over there in no time you paid for an all-day round trip picking you up at around 5pm in the evening these speedboats will take you to Phi Phi Island, James Bond Island, The Beach, Koh Lanta, Koh Yao Yai and many more at very reasonable rates. Another beach conquered and enjoyed. Phuket I will be back 😊

I guess the boat rides are not getting much business. There seems to be more news of countries opening up. I wonder if things will pick up there.
Surprisingly a lot of locals are traveling around because no crowds and cheaper I think for tourist it will be a while before they get back here but not bothering me I am liking it better without the crowds.
Yes, similar to here. Like we are stuck here and going all the places we normally don't visit
And that is a good thing because we should know and appreciate our own country first.

Spectacular beaches, the boulders would be the one to enjoy seeing the formations during a quiet period, I don't enjoy crowds and noisy boats... this would have to be planned.
Excellent photography covering a wide range in the region.
Hi there and thank you @joanstewart it really is the best time to be here in Thailand at the moment for two major reasons no tourists and very cheap and the beaches have never looked so lush, green nature has had time to recover during this pandemic so it has had its advantages.
Looks very inviting, having fewer people would be a bonus with it being a popular destination.
Indeed inviting @joanstewart and almost everywhere in Thailand at the moment is like this great time to be here beaches all to myself 😊
Sounds absolutely divine..., enjoy!
Thank you @joanstewart 🙂
Great pics. This is a really beautiful scene. I like your second photo. I'm imagining being able to paint a picture of this scene; it looks so poetic.
Thanks, @kimloan I agree that the second photo would make a nice painting would love to see it if you do get around to doing the painting of this photo 😊
This place is so beautiful, I am impressed by the picture of the old tree growing on the rock .
Like many places Thailand is looking great due to the pandemic, nature has had time to recover and the islands are looking so lush.
The beaches here are so stunning. I'm really impressed with the beaches in Thailand, really hope to visit those amazing beaches again.
Thank you @winnietran nature has really had time to recover over this pandemic and the beaches are looking better than ever it would be the best time to visit Thailand right now.
The sunset looks really great. I will remember the diea with the speedboat. Great pictures!
Thank you @katrin-lux it is such a good time to be here in Thailand at the moment without the millions of tourist and I do think it will be like this for a little while yet bargains to be had everywhere 😊
haha well then I will look around thanks for the tip;)
Your welcome @katrin-lux see you here soon 😊
