Phuket Island in Thailand is very well known by tourist all around the world, Phuket Island been on the Andaman Sea has the most tropical warm climates and blue turquoise waters, there are as many as 30 stunning beaches along this coastline to choose from and that's not counting the little hidden gem beaches or the little secret ones. The most popular beaches like Patong, Karon, Kata beach are all situated by lively towns surround by world class restaurants and super shopping malls.

When, I first set my eyes on Kathu Beach, it was like instant love, it wasn't one of them crowded beaches in the middle of a crowded town, this beach was between Phuket town and Patong Beach and it wasn't one of them hidden gem beaches but almost you could say, it was situated near the small village town of Kathu, of the main road which made this small village town very quiet and tranquil the little street that ran through the village town was lined with beautiful little shops, where you could buy all original Thai foods cooked by the grandma's and eat by this amazing beach watching the sun go down.

If I was to holiday on Phuket Island this would be the place, I would put my feet up in Kathu village town, there is everything you need around this small village town without be run down by crowds or crazy speeding motorbikes the locations is perfect your not far from the main town of Phuket nightlife if you fancy a night out in the town and you can always come home to a peaceful village town and enjoy a good morning swim in that blue turquoise beach without the crowds around and believe me, if you are on a budget holiday or backpacking around this is the perfect village nice cheap and comfortable hostels and food is so cheap ,none of them tourist prices and the atmosphere of Kathu village town is so friendly and with sunsets like that you just don't want to leave this village town.
