The Hibiscus flowers are in my opinion a very colorful and pretty flower they are grown mainly for ornamental purposes but the hibiscus flower does also have a place in the medicinal filed, it is known that there are over 200 different species of these hibiscus flowers around the world and the beautiful part of this is, they are all different in color, shape and size growing as a plant or as a shrub.

Did you know that you can eat these hibiscus flowers straight of the plant well with a name like that which sounds like biscuit I suppose people would have intentions of eating them straight of the plant like a fruit I have never tried one but I must remember next time I run into a beautiful hibiscus flower but in all honesty they make a great flavored tea a yummy jams and go well in salads, it's a wonder why there are so many hibiscus flowers growing in almost every house I walk by but really they do make a wonderful ornamental flower.

Wow!!! You know that hibiscus and lotus/water lilies! So exotic and beautiful. I am especially partial to the long stamen that hangs out.
