Simple But Comfortable Interior Design Janji Jiwa Cafe

The high interest of the community, especially among teenagers, towards coffee, has made many modern cafes appear. From simple themed ones, to outdoor themes relying on environments such as forests, as well as industrialist themed cafes.

Like a coffee shop with the kind of franchise Janji Jiwa that I visited yesterday, apart from using a small area of land, this cafe also carries a minimalist industrialist theme.

The Promise Jiwa cafe, which is located in the Mandurejo street area, Kajen, Pekalongan, is next to the POS Indonesia building, an official delivery service.

The Janji Jiwa cafe is dominated by white and black, monochrome colors increasingly display a simple impression.

From the entrance, the main room is lined with a row of rectangular tables surrounded by short chairs made of iron.

From here, you can immediately see where the toast menu is served, which is also a mainstay at the Janji Jiwa outlet.

Next to the toast serving counter, there is immediately a long table dedicated to serving coffee stuck to the wall that becomes the boundary to the next room.

Meanwhile, in front of the long table coffee counter, there is a sitting room in the form of a long table attached to the wall combined with a navy long-legged chair.

The roof is high enough to be fitted with small lights that are bright enough, giving the impression that this narrow hallway looks spacious. Under this high table there are several sockets that make it easier for visitors if they want electricity to charge their cellphones or laptops.

OUTDOOR SPACE

Next to the reservation counter, there is a smoking area, or it can also be used for visitors who like open spaces. Although it is not too wide, and not many ornaments are used, still, this outdoor space is quite comfortable.

The table used in this outdoor space is similar to the table in the front room, but the one here has higher legs, while the chairs used are chairs with arms and backrests.

If I had to choose, to be honest, I'd prefer an open air even though I'm not a smoker.

After all, the distance between one table and another is also not all close together, so we can choose a place that is a bit far apart if by chance there are visitors smoking in this area.

Apart from the reason for air circulation, this outdoor space is my favorite because the dean has access to toilet rooms and prayer rooms.

This prayer room facility is a plus for the Janji Jiwa cafe, because most small cafes do not provide prayer rooms.

And even when I visited here with my friend, he preferred this area.

Even though the place is minimalist, Janji Jiwa cafe Kajen branch is quite busy at night, especially on weekends. It's a cool place to have coffee and relax with friends.

This time, I didn't order coffee, I ordered a glass of hazelnut ice, and a serving of toastt beef and spicy cheese.

Since it was getting late here, I decided to take away and enjoy coffee and toast when I got home.

Thank you Hive for reading my review this time. I hope my story isn't boring and you guys enjoy it.

Hello @titisnariyah. Despite its simplicity, the Janji Jiwa Cafe still looks elegant with a bit of a rustic flair. Plus with its additional facilities like the outdoor space and prayer room, this establishment is definitely welcoming, accessible to nature, and culturally adaptable in its present location. 😊

Is that business establishment's main floor area made of exposed concrete layered with cement finish? It seems that no ceramic tiles, marble, or other flooring materials have been laid over them.

Yes, none of the floors in this cafe use ceramics. I think, maybe the cafe owner has deliberately not renovated the floor because the building used seems to be a former building. However, after seeing that the cement-only floor was perfect for other concepts used such as chairs and tables, I became convinced that the owner did that on purpose.

Anyway, It's really made me happy that you to stop by and comment in my post. Thank you, @storiesoferne

Okay, I see @titisnariyah. Well, sometimes floors are deliberately designed that way - to have a rustic appeal as the final aesthetic. Nevertheless, it fits properly with the intended ambiance of that cafe. 😊

Really? I'm curious what cafes you've seen in your country look like? Would you like to write about it one day? I'm looking forward to it
