Indonesia has many variations of street food. I don't know if it's been a few days since I really wanted street food, the basic ingredient of which is sumedang tofu.

These past few days, the seller of Tahu Gejrot was on holiday, so I took the initiative to make it by myself. What's more, after I checked the ingredients in the kitchen it turned out that I only needed to buy tofu, everything else was complete.

After the tofu was fried, I prepared a mortar to grind the spices, which consisted of: one clove of garlic, three shallots, salt and chili to taste.

For the gravy, I mix tamarind, palm sugar, and a little vinegar into 200ml of water. boil until all ingredients are dissolved.

Cut the tofu into a mortar and then sprinkle with sour sauce.

Yummm this is delicious!

Indonesia has many variations of street food just like in Cambodia where I am living.
By watching this remind me of my grandma tofu, yet this Sumedang tofu from you looks so flavorful and yummy because there are many ingredients on it.
