In 2015, the United Nations came to together to make an agenda towards 2030 and came up with 17 sustainable development goals in which includes eradication of poverty and hunger , improved health services , Clean energy and climate change and actions.
Crypto currency has a lot to offer to actualize some of these goals directly or indirectly and i will be discussing some of the ways in which cryptocurrency can help in actualizing those goals.

how does crypto currency helps in actualizing the sustainable development globally?

1. The blockchain technology used for crypto currency is very helpful for some sectors of the economy.e.g health . The blockchain technology is now embraced by many people because of its simplicity and transparency.
2. It helps in empowering the youths of a country and provides economic stability especially in developing countries.
3. The cost of transactions such as transfer of funds, purchasing of crypto etc is very low compared to Fiat currency. This avoid unnecessary spending which lead to savings and further investment for the people. Wealth creation alleviate poverty and hunger.
4. During inflation, crypto currency is not affected because it is independent and not controlled by any central body.
5. with the help of cryptocurrency the most people are becoming more smarter and are thinking of investing in the future through the use of digital currency .
