A Common Green Damselfly In The Morning

A Damselfly In The Morning

Every time I find this kind of insect I always think that is a Dragonfly because they look pretty similar to the dragonfly. But I was wrong because this tiny flying insect named Damselfly is not a type of a dragonfly. Unlike the dragon, the shape of the body of the damselfly is slimmer type and the tail is a different color from their bodies.

The damselfly has two pairs of transparent wings it always folded together. Their two eyes were widely separated and I noticed the eyes of the damselfly are pretty similar to the Praying Mantis. The damselfly has six slimmer legs and if you look closely you may notice they have spiky legs. Maybe the damselfly uses their spiky legs to grab prey because it looks really clingy.

"Here are the images of the damselfly attached to the leaf grass.
