What led me to create the Tokenized Society avatar

When I first joined Hive on my other account (@tfranzini) earlier this year I did it exclusively because of the rewards. Back then, I didn't know the first thing about crypto and even less about blockchain but making money for messing around on the internet? Hey, sign me up!

Of course, it didn't take me long to understand what Hive is really about and all the potential we have in this community. It also didn't take me long to find out about my favorite tribe on the Hive ecosystem: LeoFinance.

Ever since I started to be more active on LeoFinance my knowledge of crypto, blockchain, finance and Hive itself was kicked into overdrive, which made me want to spend more and more time here.

Fast forward a few months, some weeks ago I took a 15 days vacation from work, which was the longest period of time off that I've had since, well, ever. I actually had never taken that much time off since I started my professional career over a decade ago.

Having all that free time on my hands was something very unusual for me and I was not sure what to do with it so I just did one of the things I always say I wish I had more time for: I spent a lot of time on the Hive blockchain, mainly on LeoFinance.

That was a very positive experience, not only because I could learn and interact even more with the community around here but I also had a glimpse of a new way of life, one that is only possible because of blockchain technology and everything that comes along with it.

I'm not only talking about financial freedom, even though that's very important too, but I believe blockchain and even crypto are much more than the possibility of earning a lot of money and not having to work ever again. I'm talking about real freedom. Freedom from draconian governments that don't care at all about the people they should represent. Freedom from a system that's based on scarcity and completely alienates the majority of people to favor a small portion of society that "deals the cards".

I decided to create this new avatar for myself under this name because I think it really represents my idea of a society that, while may not be an ideal one, it's definitely much better than what we have today.

There is something we talk about often on Leo Market Talk which is how Hive is going to create a lot of wealth and each one of us has the potential of creating a million-dollar business and I like to think this is yet another step to mine.

For now, this is only a name with a purpose, but who knows what the future holds? Blockchain and crypto are going to unlock many opportunities for those who get involved and I want to make sure that I'm on the front row of that show.
