Family bond

Family is everything. Why do we work and make money if not for a family? Many might find it difficult to agree with me on this as they may say,' I work for my money and I spend it the way I want. However, is there anything like that? It is one thing to make money and it is another to spend it. Can you spend money all alone? In my opinion, it is very difficult to spend your funds all alone no matter how stingy you are. You will surely have a family member that will need your assistance particularly if you come from a family that shares things and usually has one another's back at all times. If you don't have siblings to spend on, how about your parents? Those that have your back when you have nothing or those that have your back when you were on stage in development.

The irony of life is people who had your back when you had nothing tend not to disturb you compared to those who offer little or nothing at all in your life. This kind of person tends to have what is called an entitlement mentality. They want to reap from what they didn’t sow.

It is a season of celebrations, the resuscitation of the Lord who died on the cross of Calvary. The Christians believe in His existence. Since it is the season of Love, I decided to go visit my member together with my husband. We bought a lot of edible and nonedible items to be shared with people who we love. My husband had no idea of what my mom would love so I chose all the items we had gotten personally. We have decided to visit them because we haven't done that since we got married as work and personal matters have prevented us from going all these while. When we got home, my parents had already prepared a delicious meal for us. My husband and I ate it to our satisfaction.

When we were about to go, there was a woman whom I bearly knew on our street. She approached us and alleged that we didn’t greet her even when we had no business together so I thought it might be because she wanted something. My husband at first felt reluctant as we were already on our way but after much persuasion, he agreed to meet with the woman. She prayed and my husband gave her some money. I could say that our Easter Celebration was eventful.
