The Illusion of a Stress-Free Life

If someone thinks about life too much, they may not want to do anything again and might just resort to giving up. Why is it that some people do not like taking life too seriously? “What is in this life anyway?” That has become our anthem since the beginning of time. At times, I ask myself why we are here in the first place. Is it just to give birth and plan for our children to become great in life, or is it simply to come into this world, live, enjoy the moment, and eventually die? It does not really make sense, right? Maybe I am the one who thinks too much.

I do not want to involve religious claims because they seem to have answers, but those answers do not necessarily mean they can be verified or have any solid backing. Yes, that is just it.

Most times, as we grow older, we believe things will get better, but we are often mistaken. It never really does. Things may become less challenging, but life does not suddenly become easy. I remember when I was a small child; I imagined a life free of stress, but I was wrong. Life can never be completely free of stress. It is not even just about the absence of money, but there are many other factors to consider, such as family responsibilities, motherhood, and many other things that come with life.

Sometimes, I ask myself when someone will finally be free from all these problems of life, and I always conclude that things may get better for a while, but there will always be something to deal with. Someone will always face challenges that may affect them directly or indirectly.

This life is too complicated to fully understand. Being a good person does not mean good things will always come your way. It is what it is. Likewise, being a bad person does not mean bad things will always happen to you. No one can truly explain how life works or what can be done to make it perfect. It is simply too complicated to comprehend.

You may be thinking about how to improve your life, and at the same time, another unexpected issue will arise without your consent. You make plans, but other things are happening simultaneously. It is really complicated to understand.

Another issue that makes life more difficult is that some people constantly depend on others for everything. Some rely on others to the extent that they cannot function independently. These kinds of people can make life more difficult for someone, and sometimes they can be frustrating to deal with. They keep taking and taking until there is almost nothing left. It is crazy, right? Of course, it is.

When I think about it sometimes, it makes me question whether it is worth putting too much effort into becoming extremely successful. The reality is that you cannot spend money only on yourself. No matter how careful or stingy you try to be, there will always be circumstances or people that will require something from you. Some people do not even ask for permission; they simply appear when they need something and expect you to provide it.

In the end, all we can do is try our best. We should never lose ourselves or sacrifice our entire existence for anything. We should always strive towards the truth because, at the end of the day, nothing matters more than living a life based on truth and understanding.
