The wet meadow #5

This is the fifth exploration of my little beloved meadow.
Today was a beautiful day. Both in terms of weather and photo conditions.
In theory the part of day was absolutely not good for photographing. High sun and high contrasts.
Nothing really happened for most of my walk.
I mainly photographed the meadow and what is happening there now.

I have walked quite a few kilometers interrupting my march by sitting under a tree for several dozen minutes.
When it comes to animals almost nothing happened most of the time.
I managed to capture another beautiful woodpecker.

The most interesting things were yet to happen at the very end of the day. Just when I was already planning to slowly go home.

During my last rest session a beautiful doe suddenly appeared next to me. Completely surprised by my presence 😄

What a beautiful animal - I thought
After a moment of reflection she suddenly moved on.

She was so close. Phew 😅
Those were wonderful emotions ..
Incredible ...

Oh well. Time to go back - I thought
I barely made a few steps in the tall grass I saw a little deer.

Lovely toddler ..
You can hardly see him in this grass
Ok. But the best was yet to come.

After another few moments I suddenly see my old friend in the distance.
This red tail cannot be mistaken for anything 😄
What a luck. I don't believe what I see ..
He is chasing field mice. And I am standing in the middle of the meadow. Without any tree cover. Not good.
So I slowly sat down on my backpack without letting my friend out of my sight.

What a meeting. In the end I was able to take some photos of him.
Isn't he brilliant?
I'm so happy.

After a while the direction of the wind changed a bit. And suddenly our hunter smelled my scent as well.
Without waiting a moment he started to run away.
I stared at him for a few more seconds before he disappeared behind the line of trees.

It was a wonderful day in nature with the fantastic ending.
I wish you Dears the same adventures.
Photograph nature!

See you next time.
Bye!!
