Chelsea defeated at Stamford Bridge by the REDS!

It was an interesting game yesterday between Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC at Stamford bridge on Sunday night. Many expected a very tough game but it wasn't that tough for the Liverpool side in the second 45 minutes.

The Chelsea squad appeared unbalanced especially in the midfield causing Liverpool to have much of the dominance and possession. We could say it was a poor selection by Frank Lampard.

The game started pretty well in the early minutes but things changed drastically after Christensen got a deserving red card for stopping Sadio Mane close to the blue's 18 yard box. Although some say it was not a worthy red card, the VAR saw it the other way round.

Sadio Mane who was my man-of-the-match scored the only two goals in the game. Later in the game, Thiago Alcantara, the new Liverpool pass vendor caused a penalty but Jorginho failed to capitalize giving Liverpool more comfort. Liverpool look set for Arsenal at Anfield.
