God's Mercies never ends

Sometimes, many persons have a misconception about God. And having a wrong understanding and mindset about God only means that one is still in the dark. I know this through some of the prayers I overhear some people pray and some of the things I hear people saying. Especially in this part of the world where I come from, people pray a lot for God to kill their enemies and/or witches and wizards.

This to me is a waste of time and energy. It shows the level of ignorance some persons are wallowing in. Now, we need to know that the nature of God doesn't change. Secondly, HE cannot be this today and then turn to that tommorrow. No! God is not like man.

God is a God of love and that is HIS nature now and forever. God doesn't kill or destroy. There's no evil or wickedness in God; God can only love and show mercy. God's greatest desire is for man to come into His love, embrace it and be saved. So, it's needless praying to God to kill someone when God's grace and mercy is constantly hovering over people's head, waiting for them to walk into it.

Lamentations 3:22-23

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

God is ever merciful and loving. So, it doesn't matter whether you have committed the worst sin or offence, HIS mercy is readily available to forgive you and earn you eternal life. Do not condemn yourself already rather, always look to Jesus for mercy? It is by His mercies that we are alive today. God is so rich in mercy. He cannot lack mercy to show you at any point in time.

Then again, the fact that God is rich in mercy doesn't mean we should misuse or take undue advantage of God's mercies. We should always acknowledge God in our lifestyles
