Recap of a Super Weekend

Hello there

I happen to love weekends a lot and I know most of do too.

The just concluded weekend was really an eventful and fun-filled one for me. This is why I thought of sharing the happenings with you.

On Saturday, I joined my local church members in a rally exercise. This rally was to create awareness for a forthcoming annual event/ gathering in my local church. This event is usually tagged "Shiloh". It's always a rewarding moment of worship, prayers and listening to the teachings of the Bible.

So, we did set out to share flyers and invite the community members for the event as well. We covered a great distance by foot but the elderly joined the rally using cars. At some point too, I joined a car because of tiredness.

Along the line in the rally, I met different kinds of people. I met those that ignored me in the process of issuing them flyers. I came in contact with those that will take the flyer but later throw it on the ground. Whereas, the were also people who were very interested in attending the programme.

Speaking of Sunday, this past Sunday was also an amazing one for me. This is so because I learned a lot during my pastor's message. I equally led in sessions of praise and worship where I danced aggressively. We had both morning and evening sessions and I attended both.

After the morning service, I took some photos with my friends.

Sometimes, I just wish weekends would last longer because it's usually come with a lot of fun. But sadly, weekends are short while the work days are longer.

Which is why I try to make the most of my weekends. I am already anticipating next weekend because I want to use that period in learning how to drive a motorcycle.
