Insights from Genesis 40 -41

No situation at all is a hopeless one. It only becomes hopeless when you don't involve or have faith in God. Our Father is our ever-present help. HE has many ways of saving us and restoring us to our rightful places. Joseph happened to find himself in a very terrible place for a crime he didn't commit. Yet, he never lost faith in God and in turn, God caused things to happen in the palace in order that Joseph might be vindicated and restored.

Also, we need to know that God has his own ways. His ways are not our ways. Hence, God might not show up when and how we want Him to. He knows when it's best for us to be visited and one thing is sure, God will always come through for us and at the perfect time. Just keep trusting and hoping in him for he never fails.

Lastly, don't fix your gaze and trust in man but in God. Joseph placed his hope on the chief butler but what happened, the butler forgot about him. It's the nature of man to disappoint which is why we shouldn't put our hope in man. God is reliable; hope in Him alone.

At the appointed time, God caused Joseph to be remembered. Not only was he remembered, God made his latter days to be greater than the former. He glorified Joseph beyond his imaginations. On the whole, this was the fulfilment of God's promises to Joseph while he was still with his brethren.

Have you given up on God? Have you drawn away from God? Then you should have a rethink. Joseph was only consistent in being able to interpret dreams because he was consistently connected to the source - God. If he wasn't consistently close to God, there's no way he would have been able to interpret those dreams that led to his restoration and upliftment.

I hope this blesses someone!
